would magik's discs pierce through rachel's force fields?

whats magik's level of telepathic resistance????? love both women but im team rachel. she is portrayed as weaker than she should be

@darthphoenix: She did originally, telepaths couldn't read or control her mind back in the first series of New Mutants. Not really sure that included psi blast. She astral projected and was attacked by Emma Frost and it worked. The astral form should have the same psi protections as the mind. Karma also erased her memories after her powers expanded in New Mutants Truth or Dare. Not sure if current Magik has the same protections, I think it has been implied telepathy cna work on her now, not sure though, but she was affected by mental powers when her mind was pulled into Legions mind. Rachel was able to enter Psylockes mind after Jamie made her "immune" to telepathy and she still has tk and IMO she should be able to use that before Illyana can use her mutant powers.

magik could win if she could bring rachel to limbo through her disk. the problem with that though is how fast she can do that. In limbo, she can just command her demons to kill rachel, it would take a little while, rachel will tire herself out and die

Rachel could win if she stuns magik with her psi blast on the onset of the battle. There's a scene in adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix where old and weak rachel attacked apocalyse's soldiers by making their bodies explode with the use of her tk

Okay-- Hold up-- didn't Rachel take on Galactus once? With that being said, my vote goes to Rachel.

@poisonfleur: rachel had full access to the phoenix force than... but my vote is still on her regardless. ppl seem to forget about rachel's ability to send hers or another persons mind into the timestream, even if magik could beat her rachel could just send her mind back over & over to change the outcome of the battle

If it goes into Limbo, which is easily should, then Illyana takes this effortlessly. In the past, Rachel takes it on Earth, but they've amped up Illyana's powers when she's not in Limbo recently, although writers seem to have forgotten that she used to be immune to telepaths. Even Professor X couldn't get in when she wanted to keep him out.
