Black Panther & Storm could have worked if Marvel gave the relationship the attention it needed and deserved, but that ship has sailed and I am over it.

Storm and Logan have always had great chemistry. I expected this hook up back in the Uncanny days with them kissing a few times and fondly reminiscing on past flirtations. I see the potential but I'll wait to see what happens. Aaron may surprise everyone.

I rather storm not date him and wow she's dating another Avenger. Um wouldn't panther be alittle mad that Logan of all people would be dating his ex-wife after the whole AVX thing that should seem so weird. Anyway I honestly rather see storm dating thor(Personally I believe Thor+Storm pairing makes more sense) anyway lets just see how this relationship goes. :)

I'd say it's possible. They've had a lot of chemistry and history together over the years. They've both been X-Men and Avengers. They're a lot more similar than they are different. I'd like to see it.

Logan is just going to be the rebound guy.

This is almost as bad an idea as placing Wolverine in the overall leadership role for the X-Men, we have Scott, Charles, Cable, Cannonball, a laundry list of characters who are better suited. Oh wait, that's exactly what they've done. Well, guess it's more of the same. Congrats to the Logan fans.

I remember for years there were letters asking when Wolvie and Storm would become an item so it is a popular idea which only now the comics seem to be actually doing anything about it

I'm really not a fan of the breakup between Black Panther and Storm. But Wolverine and Storm have always had good chemistry. There could be worse pairings for sure.

Ok, first of all NO, Storm should not hook up with Wolverine. Never.

And secondly, in Claremont's X-Men run, and I mean the one that matters, the one that went from Giant Size X-Men 1 to the 90's, he never, EVER show that something may happened between Logan and Ororo. He might show Ororo flirting or something like that with Nightcrawler but never with wolverine. Wolverine and her have a partner relationship, they respected each other as teammates and family, in fact Ororo was the only one that convinced (kind of, it only lasted like one issue) Logan not to use his claws if they weren't necesary. The thing you are showing up here is from this century's Claremont's run, wich lasted few issues and wasn't as relevant as it was in the 80's (wich for me by the way was the best x-men books ever made).

And don't bring the Ultimate X-Men here. In that universe Colossus is gay and Jean Grey fucked with Logan in the seventh issue or something like that.

there was a What If? story from a few years back, it took place in a world where the heroes and villains of the Secret Wars never got sent home. Some characters died but many others got married and had kids. Human Torch + the Wasp= Firefly, Dr. Doom + Enchantress = Malefactor, etc. Wolverine and Storm had 2 kids, the daughter was codenamed Torrent, and she had Storms weather manipulation along with Wolverine's animal nature and healing factor. She was pretty cool but i don't see 616 getting to that point so id say that Storm and Wolverine shouldn't be together. it wont last (neither of their relationships ever do), and after Storm's reaction post-2nd coming to Wolverine's X-force, them breaking up will probably be the last straw and we wont see them on the same team for a looooong time

Wasn't there just a marvel point one cover with storm and BP holding hands? Im really confused and really angry, not so much as the couple themselves, storm and wovfie, though I feel like there are better combos avaialbale than those two, but because I really wanted them to explore storms and BP's history more and that point one marvel cover seemed to promise that but apprently not if storm and wolvie are shacking up.

I don't think the six years its been in real life really translate so directly to a six year marriage, with comic books compressed timelines being what they are. In fact I don't think you even can get an annulment after that much time has passed.

I see this much as I saw Expendables 2: At least 10-20 years too late.

I know that it's not in continuity, but still. It shows that the idea's been there for a while. While I approve of taking the characters in new directions, I think that Wolverine hsould have died in AvX. That would have solved a LOT of problems, while opening up a metric ton of new storylines.

@hunter5024: I think that they're playing on the fact that Panther is the king of the country where they were married, and can do more or less whatever he likes in terms of making/breaking laws.

I could always see them as friends and allies and respected team mates. And I think they should have love for each other but Agape /Brotherly love, not Eros. But Storm is so in tune with nature and animals and life due to her weather powers. And Wolverine is so connected to the savage aspect of life and nature. The hunt and the kill and the feeding, the battle for dominance and all the dark red claw aspects of nature.

They are like two opposites sides of the cycle. The beauty and the cruelty, the nurturing and the savagery.The duality of nature personified. So they are a part of each other but would never work as lovers, I don't think.

And I'm aware Black Panther personifies those aspects of nature to a degree. But not to the extremes Wolverine does. Plus, T'challa is a King and genius.He is more civilized.And even he could not make it work with Storm..

I do think Logan and Rogue could and should be a good couple, just needs to be handled by a skilled enough writer.

I'd like to see him and Kitty Pryde finally hook up. It's grown naturally over the years and she's matured and become a hell of a woman and a perfect match for him.

See, every woman Logan knows these days was a "kid" during his ageless life time. His contemporaries died off decades ago. If he let that stop him he'd never hook up with any one ever again.

Honestly I think they could be a great couple. They have such a powerful relationship and it could become a hundred times more powerful if only they would let it happen. Storm and T'Challa didn't work out for many reasons one being that T'Challa never trusted Ororo. She deserves better than that. She deserves to be trusted and respected and loved and even with Logan's less kind side, he could give her a hell of a lot more than T'Challa ever did it seems. LoRo works because they keep each other in balance. They are the epitome of yin and yang. Maybe they're doing it because of Diana and Clark(which I think is a suckish couple), but there's always been the heat of what they could do with Logan and Ororo. I hope T'Challa gets all jealous and pissy so he can realize what he lost all because he was too proud to trust his wife. He made the mistake of leaving her and she has every right to move on no matter how fast it is. Logan may be a player, but I think with Storm he'd calm down and relax because she has a hell of a lot to offer in a relationship. She would put their relationship first just like she did with T'Challa. My only problem is Logan has to give something T'Challa never could or even wanted to give to Storm and that is trust. If he can do that I can see this being a relationship of the ages. So do I like this idea? It's been way overdue and as a HUGE fan of the beautiful goddess known as Ororo Munroe this is something she needs. She deserves the chance to let go and Logan is the perfect man to make her forget about the hell she went through trying to hold together a marriage that should have never been. LoRo for life!

Why not? Storm would get more screen time from it and maybe Wolverine will become less one-dimensional.

They have to earn the title 'Power Couple' though with great arcs and living up to their relationships' potential. Comic readers tend to find relationships boring, so 'Power Couples' are few and far between. One partner usually ends up taking the back seat to the other.

Wolverine is the most overrated character in all of comics. The comic world would be better if he was killed off.
