Why, or why not?
I liked him a LOT better in Deadpool than in any of the actual X Men movies, but still no. They need to do right by him. For instance, get an actor who can ACT to play him?
@koays: Whats that supposed to mean?
@koays: Blame Bendis for Kitty.
Hell yeah. It goes like this.
1. Nightcralwer
2. Iceman
3. Rachel Summers
4. Beast
5. Colossus
6. Storm
7. Cyclops
8. Rogue
9. Professor X
10. Wolverine
he's in my top 2, top 3 if including magneto. and top 5 if including all marvel, and top 10 if including marvel and dc
@darkdetective27: The Mutants and X-Men are dying and in hiding and she's being written in Both, simply because the X-Mens former writer Brian Michael (Satan)Bendis is a big fan of hers and was writing Starlord as his self insert character at the time.
@koays: I was asking why you felt Colossus was no longer a relevant character.
@darkdetective27: It's not that hes not relevant...just we were speaking about Iceman on the other thread and while he was accused of struggling for relevance the case is much easier to make for Colossus who constantly gets stuck in strange storylines that are supposed to be "shocking" and "unexpected" and "oh my god he's out of control" moments...when in truth, whether its joining the Acolytes, becoming the Juggernaut or turning into a Horsemen... Colossus has never become more popular or interesting because of any of these things.
@stormphoenix: *high five*
@koays: True he doesnt work well in those stories. I dont think its enough to say he isnt relevant.
@darkdetective27: Yea he's not irrelevant... But its only once in a blue moon that he's written doing something that we SHOULD care about, that we actually DO care about. I mean dying for the Legacy Virus (even if it was forgotten in an issue), mourning over Kitty, and his sister, questioning his strength...those things work way better then "Oh my God!! Colossus just joined the "rolls dice" League of Militant Zebra Men!!"
@stormphoenix: *high five*
*High Fives you* *CLAP*
@koays: I definitely agree with that and wish they wouldnt do that storyline so often. My guess is writers just think oh he's really strong and cool looking so why not use him as the muscle for the villain for aesthetic reasons and shock value.
@stormphoenix: Colossus is in my opinion the hottest X-Man.
@stormphoenix: Colossus is in my opinion the hottest X-Man.
I did think Cyclops was the sexiest X-man ever then I found out he was a cheater LOL
@stormphoenix: Lol cheaters are definitely unattractive.
@stormphoenix: Lol cheaters are definitely unattractive.
These are the X-men I (PERSONALLY) find sexy:
Cyclops, Havok, Colossus, Iceman, Gambit, Forge, Sunfire, Archangel, Quicksilver,
@stormphoenix: I certainly cant disagree there. Colossus, Iceman, and Angel are my top 3. ;)
@darkdetective27: Part of it is his powers and look...but I think a bigger part of it is that he's a likeable character. Innoncent, protective, and introverted....the guy paints, fights monsters and only speaks up to stand up for his friends and what he believes in...wouldn't YOU hate for such a nice guy to decide to become Apocalypse's Acolyte in Juggernaut form.
@koays: Yeah thats another good point. Its a shame is used as a pawn by writers like that.
@christianrapper: Very accurate to the Cockrum/Byrne/Claremont Colossus, though he wasn't quite as prudish.
