    I am!
Dude is everywhere. Every comic has him. He's the soon to be leader of another X team. Wolverine and the X Men. The Avengers. X Force. Uncanny X Force. Green Lantern Corps. Justice League. Teen Titans. B.P.R.D. Archie and Friends.
    Go away Wolverine!
Like I said in another post. Magneto needs to go bad guy again and just throw Wolverine into outer space. Where he dies. And never comes back again.

Funny thing is he's actually one of my favorites. I'm just tired of seeing him in everything.

Never really been a huge fan of him... There's so many more deserving characters who deserve that much exposure.

Wolverine's character being included in titles other than his own or a topic pointing it out?

I actually like what is being done with both Magneto and Wolverine.
Wolverine has appeared in many places ...X-Men Legacy, Schism, 2 solo series as well as X-men but in most stories he appears in they are well written (imo)
Overexposure is a fault that sometimes Marvel does tend to fall into but as long as the stories are well written I see no real problem with it at all.

Take Batman from DC for example. I think he will be appearing in 5 different titles when the DCNU hits, Batman and Robin, Batman the Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Batman,  and Justice League. I'll see buy some of each issue and choose what I want to continue following.

Going back to Wolverine, one of his series "The Best There is" isn't quite enjoyable at all but his other "Wolverine" is one of the best Marvel titles out imho. I never appreciated Wolverine character much while I was growing up but in recent years after giving his character a chance and seeing how he is being written in recent days has made me appreciate his character all the more. A billion titles can be written about Wolverine and as a consumer I would simply choose which titles I want.  I think as fans of these characters we at times allow too much to annoy us...just attempt to control the things you can.

I never was much of a Wolvie fan, but I see his appeal still he is the most over exposed character in comic history and I'm fed up of seeing him everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE Wolverine, Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, X-Force, and in CLAWS! I can't escape him and it drives me insane.

In all seriousness I view it like this:

In one case their is Wolverine appearing in either his own or family titles, and titles in which he was a core member of the team since issue
one. In these cases their is the factor that a person picking up the book already knew he was their, so complaining about the fact becomes moot.

The second scenario is " guest staring ". This I think is the larger and more warranted nuisance. But in these cases it works much the same as
when Spider-man, Batman or Superman is jumping into a title. Wolverine sells, and in many cases his character (or Deadpool when he's hot,
and recently the Future Foundation mucho) appears in the book in order to boost it's sales, as it will particular appeal to the many Wolverine
completionists out their, as well turn a few more heads the books way. So it's horse a piece with that. Would one rather not have Wolverine
pop in a random title even though it may actually save the title from cancellation due to not having enough of a readership, or let it slide do
to the chance that it may keep their current favorite going.

Personally I don't care for him being in so many books either, even though I like his regular series. I could even do with him not being in X-Men
for awhile just to see what it's like (he wouldn't be the first big character to be temporarily out of this series of course). But it doesn't irritate me to
much either, except if he eats up too much of the spot light that the main character(s) should be taking up.

I have never hated Wolverine, but I do feel he is being spread far too thin. Wolverine is a great character and with the height of popularity he has reached now its like Marvel is afraid to leave him out of most X-Men and a lot of Avenger events for
fear of fan boy backlash. I have said this before, Wolverine is not one of the primary leaders of the X-Men and never has been since he joined them years ago. Now with Schism its been announced that in the aftermath he will lead one of the
X-Men factions. Now I know part of the problem is Cyclops has been getting most of the 'Leadership Spotlight' in the last few years and other X-Men like Storm, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Havok and others with leadership experience have, been
absent, soul searching and had their role diminished. Having Wolverine become the main leader of one of the X-Men factions just feels really contrived and forced. Whats worse I seriously doubt Marvel is going to reduce his presence in the
Marvel universe leading to all kinds of continuity problems. I just think Marvel is running the risk of killing a golden goose by using it too much.

Wolverine has always been one of my favorites. My biggest problem with Wolverine is that Marvel made him basically invincible and I don't enjoy reading about him that much anymore.I know in the end he can't ever REALLY lose.I don't see any need to whine about how many books he appears in because it's not like he's the only character that appears in more books than what actually makes sense.

I became sick of him after Jim Lee took over. He only started to show up everywhere in the late nineties. I actually liked him as the bar room brawling, straight forward thug with a sense of honor and not the super warrior he's become.

I know he's overused but he's still a great character. He's wonderful in Uncanny X-Force & I really think he fits well with the Avengers. I've never really followed his solo titles, but I feel like it's been a bit much on top of his own titles that there are 2 other "Wolverine's" out there too: X-23 & Daken. One of them needs to die.

Agreed! I was planning on making this point as well. I just watched an episode of X Men TAS, in which Wolverine gegts taken down by one slash by Sabretooth. Maybe thats too toned down, but at least it made him vulnerable. I just read X Force Sex and Violence, which was a great read, but Wolverine gets impaled from behind and just shrugs it off and continues to kick butt. Its just not interesting.
That's one point people made is that with overexposure, writers write him differently. It's like some writers want to write him as an invulnerable, extreme badass, while others might actualy want to give him a little more character. Also, I think some writers don't know how well his healing factor works, so everyone just makes him completely invulnerable.

    No way, Jose.

Daken is one of the more exciting "new" characters to have emerged.  X-23's gotten too melodramatic for my tastes.  I enjoyed her in her first miniseries and in her brief role in "NYX", but Yost, Kyle, and now Liu have been trying to push this heavy-handed soul search for too long.

He's really kinda all over the place... we get it, you're a badass. Give some other heroes the spotlight. It seems that all the X-Men movies kept centering around him rather than the X-Men themselves, which is part of what made X-Men: First Class so brilliant. His hatred of Deadpool is the only reason I pay attention to him now... well, that, and he's a pretty awesome character in the new Marvel vs. Capcom. :D

I don't necessarily agree with his stance on Schism, specifically his views on the involvement of young mutants in warfare which I deem to be naive and hypocritical, but I do like him.

I still like Wolverine too and I agree that his Schism stance about the kids was just too forced out for me.

I have a hate tolerate relationship with the character, at best I can stand 12 in character comments from him before I start kinda wanting him to die

I hate that he is not only in everything, but always the central focus of each book he appears in. I don't hate him though nor do I think he is a bad character. Just needs to chill out and keep himself in two or three books.
