Anyway, just wondering if A+X is canon or if it's just a wacky "what if this happened" kind of book. Anyone have any concrete verdicts for me??

@littleredrobinhood: I think it is cannon, but I think it doesn't really matter that it's cannon. Like, if anything of lasting significance were to happen to any of the characters, it would probably happen in their own books. kinda thing.

I saw Fantomax was in an issue of A+X. Is he back to life. I didn't know that he was.

yeah, he's been featured in Uncanny X-Force, Uncanny X-Force (vol.2), and has his own book right now, Fantomex MAX.

Yes it's canon

Famtomex uses misdirection in A+X, so the story takes place before his death (and resurrection in separate bodies).

I don't think Famtomex MAX takes places in 616. EVA is completely different.

but how do u expalin the cyclops teaming up with spider-man who is reall doc ock or magik teaming up with thor while she was testing the new mutants in the secret weapon x/xaver school??? I think its real

I don't see how any of that would make it more or less in-continuity; what do you mean?

they bring him back to life in the last issue of Uncanny X-force (vol.1), Uncanny X-Force #35 - Rainbows, Puppy Dogs & Sunshine.

How could it be canon? The latest issues have Cyclops and Captin America together. Isnt Cyke still considered a wanted criminal? And wouldnt goody two shoes cap just arrest him amd bring him in? I admit I dont read it because I thought it was a gimmick and not canon in the 1st place

@hawk2916: thougt the same thing when I saw the cover of the issue. I just can't take the series seriously they already had the uncanny avengers so I really didnt see the need for An A+X series.

It's a goofy series for people who just want a fun read. They've made it fairly obvious that it's canon

@peppeyhare: I see no justice that a goofy series is still on print were something like venom and scarlet spiderman had to meet its end :(

But this series has nothing to do with the cancellation of those books lol. Some people like books like A+X and I don't see a problem with that

@peppeyhare: didn't say A+X was the reason they stopped scarelt and venom I said its a shame people would pick that over them.

@peppeyhare: that's fine not going to try to change them but some people have some really bad taste in that case.

@humanrocket: IMO, I think the cancellations were more to do with Marvel getting rid of the old titles and replacing them with Marvel Now versions. Hence, why they cancelled X-Factor was cancelled, only for an announcement for a relaunch not long after. Same with New Warriors (Scarlet Spider, even same writer) and more than likely Superior Venom/Thunderbolts.

Probably canon, but not that it matters though, the series is awful and nothing important has really happened to actually has some significance in the 616 Universe.

@squares: Basically. It's just a book to kind of pair up characters. I believe the issue with Magik and Thor specifically stated the issue itself in a panel was set before the recent Limbo arc in UXM.

The book is canon. Just the stories aren't important.

At first I thought this said, "Is AvX (Avengers vs X-Men) canon?"

And I was like: WAIT WHAT...of course it is.

But then I noticed that it said A+X. Yes, I think it's canon, but it doesn't really matter
