@cracks: No. It's the most highly regarded cross-over of the 1990's from the many of the fans, but there are far more critically acclaimed and popular story arcs inthe X-verse than that.
 
The Original Dark Phoenix Saga to start with, Days of Future Past, God Loves Man Kills, etc.

Age of Apocalypse. House of M was really cool in its own right, but I just feel like Age of Apocalypse was on a whole other level.

AOA was just pure awesomeness bursting at the seems, 
HOM was ok as far as alternate earths go but it never did WOW me.
