I find it funny how people can read a comic like the x-men per say and just be like, "oh my gosh i cant believe they would hate someone because they were born different," and yet, that same person will look at homosexuality and utterly despise it with no problem...makes me laugh

they are so dumb they think the x men will kill them if they don't like them.

In terms of having a problem with homosexuals, it depends on which homosexual it is. I don't have a problem with gays that are masculine. The feminine and flamboyant gays are the problem. I try to stay away from those types.

Why don't we try to figure out how to actually live in balance with the planet before we start extending lifespans. Arable farmland is rapidly disappearing as are reserves of drinkable water. We can't eat fish because of mercury poisoning and air pollution has gotten so bad that allergies and asthma is skyrocketing. And that's leaving aside the fact that the energy resources we need to keep our post-industrial society going are dwindling.

He's another, rather cruel, food for thought: By extending the lifespan of people who might die in childhood from genetic diseases (including stupidity), we are allowing those diseases (and stupidity) to continue to spread throughout the genome. With fertility treatments and in vitro, we are basically trumping God by allowing genetic lines to continue that Nature dictated should die out.

So just what are we doing to ourselves?

Yeah, but that doesn't automatically mean that everyone who is spiritual is homophobic. Actually the most spiritual people I have met don't have a problem with homosexuality.

It's the shallow religious nut-jobs that like to do God's job for him that make issues out what other people do in their bedrooms. Probably just like any other form of predjudice, they are insecure and feel the need to put other down for this or that reason.

As one person I heard put it, "With a 50% divorce rate, the only reason the Christian Right is opposed to Gay Marriage is because they're worried gay people might do marriage better than they do."
