    I have seen that the fatal attractions story only have 6 issues, but the collected edition contains a lot more. Is everything essential reading, or do you understand the story completely if you only read the 6 parts?

    The best way to read Fatal Attractions is to read

    Reading the build-up to the story in Uncanny X-men gives it a lot more weight, and the other crossover issues aren't really necessary.
