@hyperlight: Wolverine was portrayed as aging all the way back in the 80's when he first started complaining about getting older and not healing as fast as he did before. Writers just chose to ignore that for a decade or two. Prob due to how popular he became in the 90's. In the original DoFP(X-men 141-142) for instance when he first see an older looking Logan with gray hair it takes place in the year 2013. So that in itself is proof of how Wolverine was supposed to be aging by now.
@immolation: Well then at the same time you could just consider it retconned yet again by the way that old man Logan has aged if that's how you view the other stuff which predated how you currently view Wolverine's aging.

by that rational, Kitty Pryde should be almost 50. And Franklin Richards should be almost 40.
