The thing is Ororo, I've known Scott longer than ANYONE.

Me AND Hank.

We've known him forever. We were the ORIGINAL X-Men.

The Scott we grew up with - he would HATE this.

When we were young we were always worried about a mutant apocalyptic nightmare!

I'm telling you, if the young us saw what was going on today it would feel WORSE than the mutant apocalyptic nightmare we used to WORRY about!

I find a few things interesting from these releases. Bobby is being way too preachy and overall annoying. Stick to the jokes, Chuckles and way to work in those really SUBTLE hints about what your younger self/O5 members would think. Good lord, but at least the art looks great. Anyone else find it hilarious that the leading X-title in the Marvel NOW era is about Beast mutating for a third or fourth time and forty year old characters returning?

Question...so is the all new x-men comic mean that the uncanny x-men and wolverine and the x-men series are going to be discontinued?

No It's about time Beast, Kitty, Iceman and Storm spend some time in the spotlight. X-Men has been about Scott, Emma and Wolverine for far too long, it's there time to shine in comics. The art looks pretty bad, but I'm looking forward too this title. It's time Iceman grow up abit.

I think Uncanny X-Men is getting cancel and I think Wolverine and the X-Men will continue.

@mjbiebs: From my understanding Wolverine and the X-Men is going to continue for the time being, but Uncanny X-Men only has a few issues before it ends. All New X-Men seems kind of like a replacement for Uncanny X-Men. It looks kind of promising but only time and issues will tell for sure.

Is it just me, or does Bendis always need to have a character who keeps on flogging the matter in dialogue?

@time: The art is the only good thing going for it and they're the the primary characters in WATX. So, I don't see how they're not getting spotlight over the past year. I'm more referring to Bendis being lame. If Bobby growing up means he's going to whine 24/7 then let the doppleganger replace him. Give Beast a storyline that isn't about him mutating and I'll be interested.

I wonder if Beast will mutate into a form where he's even more of a cat and less of a hypocrite.

Yes they been in the spotlight for a year, how about three or four years ago. I'm not looking forward to seeing 2 Beast, 2 Iceman, 2 Cyclops or 2 Angels, but I'm looking forward to Jean Grey coming back. The only people who not really happy about this is Emma and Scott fans and all I have to say to them is tough, suck it up, Cause those fans of Jean, Storm, Iceman and Beast had to for a long time, which wasn't fair at all. Bobby could be more mature, if he grows up and he should get a girlfriend.

this is the title that I'm most excited about as it offers the most in terms of the possibility of some great storytelling and some great character development....as long as Bendis brings the same level of writing to this as he does with Ultimate Spider-man and the Spider-men mini then this is going to be a great series

Im a big a Cyclops fan, but im not worried or unhappy about the path his been on. Atleast I've had a couple of years of awesome Cyclop's led stories

I'd be into this book, but i kinda dis-like both Beast(actually hate him really) and Ice-Man.

@Rickbarry: Beast can mutate into obscurity for all I care. I'd find it hilarious if he tried to cure his mutation((yet again)) and makes matters even worse for himself.

The only reason why she stayed on Utopia was to keep Cyclops in check (though that did not work)

She was actually packing up to head to Wolverine's school until Scott begged her to stay. I think she made the right choice.

For Bendis books that is exactly what you need to do.

Be prepared for four pages of quipping from every character and head shots of characters talking by the third issue you might get some action that might be related to the story.

I am looking forward to this. I love seeing these four spending some time together, its been a while.

I'm going to be the responsible one and wait until reading the whole issue before commenting....that way I have a full issue of things to complain about.

The idea of Bendis on an X-book does not thrill me like Marvel would like it to, but after the past 5 years of X-books it will at least be different and (hopefully) cannot be worse

im just mad that UXM is getting cancelled. it was a very good read month to month. if anything they should have cancelled legacy. but i will check this book out simply because i want to see how long it takes before the writers try and find a way to 'fix' cyclops character. in other words how long they take to replace him with his younger self by the way. which i think will suck.
