    The Summer Before X-Men #1 0

    X-Men first class was a mini-series released quite some time before the movie of that name, and deals with some of the 'untold' adventures of the original X-Men.  I was a little skeptical at first, I mean the original X-Men ran for a dozen years and nearly 100 issues - do we really need more stories about the original five team members?  But upon diving into this mini-series, the first issue seems to indicate that these are the necessary 'New Mutants' stories of the original X-Men.
