Bryan Singer's upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past is loaded with mutants and so far we've had a decent look at many of them. However, we've yet to see Quicksilver and this character is the subject of a lot of attention because he's also being used over in Joss Whedon'sAvengers: Age of Ultron. Naturally, both will be presented differently and portrayed by different actors on the big screen, and in Fox's case, Evan Peters landed the roll. So, what's he look like in the movie? Check it out below.

Viners, do you like this practical look or would you prefer something closer to his costume in the comics? Keep in mind, this is just one still, so there's no guarantee this is his "official costume" in the film.

Why is the characters important enough to have him portrayed by two different actors?

I understand the legal issues but I don't see why both have to use him and ruin the cinematic portrayal of the character.

@themanintheshoe: Considering that Agents of SHIELD has already said that telepaths don't exist, I don't think trying to view the Marvel and Fox films as even remotely compatible is worthwhile.

Which is worse? Saying that two different people are Quicksilver, or saying that people like Xavier are either nonexistent or have never been detected by SHIELD?

@TheManInTheShoe Singer was planning to use Quicksilver before Whedon was, Marvel just announced that he was appearing in Avengers before Singer announce he was going to be in DOFP. His role in X-Men is supposedly not very big (think Darwin from First Class) and he's probably serving as Magneto's son in DOFP. As far as anyone can tell, it's completely coincidental that both guys wanted to use that character. Singer's said that Quicksilver is integral to the plot of this movie, and he's obviously going to be an Avenger, so I'd just try to think often as two characters.

@akbogert: I think they're being proven wrong in the show though. Remember super powered people are a brand new thing in that world and there has been no DOCUMENTED telepaths. That doesn't mean they don't exist just that SHIELDs never came across them. Telepaths are pretty good at hiding themselves

@cobra88king8: The problem with that is that both universes have made date-based claims. The X-Men have been operating for decades in Westchester, up to and including modern day. And the Avengers saved Manhattan in the modern day. The very fact that "super powered people are a brand new thing" there automatically makes the MCU irreconcilable with the Fox films.

Rumor going around that this version of Quicksilver isn't related to Magneto. But don't worry,I'm sure it's just a rumor. If Singer's portrayal of Cyclops, Iceman, and Rogue has taught me anything is that the man respects source material.
