Lucia Callasantos (Thornn) is hunted down by New York's finest for the murder of her family. Declaring innocence, she turns to X-Force to help prove that it was her sister Maria (Feral) who actually committed the murders. They lure Feral to the old home of the Callasantos family in hopes of finally getting some answers.

    Synopsis

Detective José Hidalgo, accompanied by the NYPD's superhuman task force Code: Blue, has tracked murder suspect Thornn into the Morlock Tunnels. She attacks them but is outnumbered and is shot with a tranquilizer dart. When she hears that she is being arrested for the murder of her family, she exclaims that someone else did it. As Code: Blue takes her away, Hidalgo is troubled, as Thornn seems to suggest that Feral is the real culprit.

Under Manhattan, Domino introduces X-Force to their new headquarters: Arcade's Murderworld. The team, it turns out, is not impressed. Domino explains the benefits of the place - proximity to universities and work; training grounds; communications capabilities; well hidden; access to a nightlife - and everyone soon comes around to the idea. Cable then introduces the idea of solving an old murder that may involve a former teammate, Feral. Some are hesitant; after all, she did try to rip out Cannonball's guts. They come around when faced with the notion that deeper issues are at hand - like human/mutant relations.

In a holding cell, Thornn is asked by Hidalgo about the murder of Thornn's family. For some reason, Thornn refuses to talk. She does request her one phone call and she calls Cable to be her attorney. He shows up and grills her on the particulars of the case. Convinced of her innocence - and Feral's guilt - Cable approaches Hidalgo about a plan to clear Thornn's name and bring Feral into custody. There is one glaring issue with everything: the anti-mutant group the Friends of Humanity, led by Graydon Creed, are picketing the precinct and are sure to make trouble.

Trouble is certain, as Thornn is to be transported to a secure location but the Friends of Humanity has switched the drivers. X-Force tails the transport and thwarts the kidnapping attempt. X-Force then takes Thornn and Hidalgo to Thornn's old home. Cable hopes that some background machinations have brought Feral out of hiding. Sure enough, the group finds her waiting inside the family apartment, and she seems none-too-eager to give up the information they seek.
