    The Absolute Final Battle

This issue concludes the investigation about the Killing of General Ryan. It is the ultimate confrontation between the S.C.A.R.S. and X-Factor Investigations. In addition, the plot brings to a close the general unhappiness of one of their own being seriously injured on the previous issue.

    The Good

As we waited for the capital punishment granted by the SCARS, it seems that everyone who is active member on the team had a relevant part to play in this issue. It opened original possibilities for a new story arc.The absolute final battle had many fronts and those were really interesting to observe. It was amusing to see a little bad and good luck working together. It’s good as a reader when things not always work according to plan but come on ... it's X-Factor again.

I enjoyed the hard-hitting participation of Monet because it showed readers why she is a strong driven character that could have a more prominent role of leadership into the series. I liked the participation of the Black Cat in the whole story arc as well because she is a different kind of private investigator from X-Factor.

It was nice to see the continuity in the back story with Rahne Sinclair, a.k.a. Wolfsbane. It’s pleasant to notice that her dues in X-Force were not forgotten.

    The Bad

The narrative was rushed to conclude in this issue. I felt you had potential to have a longer wrapping up of the story. At some point, I felt that I was reading a long list of explanations to comprehend the entire psyche and existence of the SCARS. We could have got that information before the final battle.

    The Verdict

I enjoy the issue because it had a lot of events happening. The desire of Monet and her teammates to avenge his fallen friend. It was exciting to see their desire of revenge because you do not know if they are going to turn themselves into mercenaries or a group of paid killers. The whole issue about crossing that line between god and evil is always interesting to read.

The SCARS were a strong foe; especially Ballistique because she seemed to be ably to hurt everyone on the entire team. Since, I did not want more team members going down. I was handling this issue with   tremendously care. The Black Cat participation in the story was amazing. However I would have liked her to show more of the powers. Her personality was explored during the whole story and it was awesome to get to know.

I liked the art and the writing as usual. It’s nice to see faces that are not rectangular or frames that do not repeat three times in the same page. I think the content in this issue is excellent. It's totally worth to pick up this issue

Issue #219 of X-Factor.   The Story: JJJ spills the beans about SCARS and M,Shatterstar,Rictor,Longshot,Rahne go and find them ina barn where Black Cat was also following Scars.   The Good: Everybody in the team had their moment in this story, either it be for comedy or action they all gave something of value. Here we see Monet as a very caring person for her friends since she leads the attack on SCARS when Madrox told her not to go.Also PAD really put SCARS into a morally gray area with Monet sin...
