X-23
Character » X-23 appears in 2383 issues.
X-23 is a product of the Weapon X program, born from a damaged sample of Wolverine's DNA. She has recently aged up, being saved from the Vault.
xmen origins x-23 anyone support this
I agree! Except I think it should be called X-men Generations: X-23! sounds better, no? and if you dye his hair black you get...
I think from a producer/studio's perspective they would have to introduce the character BEFORE they pop a movie out of nowhere...If they did a movie and she was in it and there was possitive reviews then I would say yes...but I don't think she would be known by the normal public to be a way popular film unless they work on it...
I wouldn't be interested in seeing an X-23 movie right now.@TheGoldenOne said:
No..no to what?
It's unlikely that a X-23: Origins movie will come to be because the character is yet to be introduced to the movie franchise. No producer would greenlight a big-budget movie project starring a character the average moviegoer has probably never heard of. I'm guessing that she will be featured in some other X-Men movie in the future, assuming that the franchise keeps making money, but I doubt that she'll ever get her own movie.
Personally, I'd really just rather see a quality live-action X-Men TV-series than a string of "origins" movies for individual characters. That way, character who aren't Wolverine could get more screen time & more character developement, the story arcs could be more complex, and interesting subplots like X-23 origin story & growth as a character could be included.

I fully support an animated movie ^____^
yeah i agree animated movie then real action movie and also screw general audience tons of comic book fans would come to see i bet
I don't think X-23 is old enough to even have a movie. There's other Marvel properties that deserve it way more than X-23 does.
Plus, the notion of a kid being a killer wouldn't carry over well to film, IMO.
On two conditions:
- It not be made by Fox
- And it not have the words "X-Men Origins" anywhere in the title...
Ide say Animated Film 1st then maybe put her in one of the X Men First Class Sequels or X4 or 5 or actually thinking about it have her introduced in New Wolverine film be cool

Have you watched Hanna? Very similar concept to X-23.
I don't think Fox alone is the problem behind the X-men movies...it's the directors they choose. My personal choices for better directors would be Zach Snyder or Joss Whedon...there are others who are great of course but usually don't handle comic book to movie adaptations.
No. 1 there are at least 20 X-men who should get movies first ignoring all of Marvels other charecters 2. non comic fans would say "female wolverine clone" and comic readers would say "female wolverine clone" and then everyone would say together if were gonna get more wolverine piled on top the oversized already existing pile it should at least be the real thing not a clone
I could see them start exploring a new X-Men franchise "X-Men Legacy:", if you will. But, the movies would likely be about the spin-off teams X-Factor, X-Force (though, you could put X-23 into that one) and Generation X. Solo "X-Men Legacy:" films would likely be reserved for bigger names like Cable.
it seems likely there will be an X-23 movie, likely with a large role for wolverine, it would actually make for a pretty good wolverine movie sequel
While a great character, X-23 just isn't well known. I mean out of my friends, I may very well be the only to know of her existence. An animated movie I could see, but there is no way that they would spend millions of dollars on a movie about a character most of the public doesn't know about.

X23 may be not well known, but one of her story definitely fits the Hollywood standards - Innocence Lost. The text below comes from my older post:
"The series tells her story from the very beginning, when she was just an idea of “weapon” project and through her entire childhood. It shows how brutally her childish innocence is turned into living hell by the training to form her into an ultimate weapon. People watching it would get to know the character and would be touched by her tragedy (I was) because in today’s films real people with real problems attract good attention (these are tv series but I can mention “Lost” and “24” series having these elements and getting attention) and she (for me) is a very real person, with real emotions, which differ her from all other superheros and makes it a very interesting character (in my opinion, but I’m a fan of her not because of the action but because of that deep psychology in all her comic series).
The other thing is the series plot, narration and characters. In it there is room for everything. We have nice action (kinda in Kill Bill style if we compare the known bloody fight in mansion with X23 fights with soldiers – they are both bloody with blades in the main role), the story is narrated by her mother (If think it’s an advantage, it would give a dark and emotional feature for the movie) and we have a clear look on the protagonists and antagonists. The facility and especially Zander Rice are the clear antagonists, because they turned her life into nightmare only for financial profit. I think even people who don’t know X23 would identify with her in this situation. The last thing is the finale, really big event full of action, where good defeats evil and with suprising and moving end, when she kills her mother because of the killer scent on her and then hears her real name (I cried in that moment, so would other watchers).
Through the entire series also runs a very deep dilemma, which could be used as the movie's tagline – If she’s a killing machine or an poor innocent girl, who suffered so much pain."
Although mutant, she is quite a real character, with real problems, and also this story gives all those dramatic and moving moments, so if producers give her a chance, It would be like with Nolan's Batman series, of course - In my opinion.

Then it wouldn't be an X movie, it'd be a Wolverine movie with X in it, which I don't mind backing up. I'm still not convinced about it though.
