Finally, the greatest female superhero gets her own movie. At long last, this is what I've been waiting for for years and it looks perfect!!! Complete faith and optimism for DCEU regained. Wonder Woman is by far my most anticipated movie from both Marvel and DC and any other movies in production by lightyears!!!

Also, the cinematography is beautiful

any gripes i have are with the direction theyve taken her in general though im also a bit miffed with the lack of oddball/wonder but this IS the first trailer so im sure will be seeing some of that as time goes on. gonna be a beautiful film no matter what though and that lasso work was nice

Same could be said about the bracelets too, or at least that's what they are popular for. I just wanted to see her classic super-fast bullet deflecting for once. Kinda worried they are going to ignore this ability because of the shield.

You care about these movies to see how they do on battle forums and how powerful they are? I mean, that's totally okay, but gawd damn, all the other Wonders in the trailer were absolutely fantastic. Cinematography, colors, tone, action etc. Make her get knocked out by a punch from a human soldier, I don't care, as long as the movie is good, then that's all that's needed.

Totally agree with this but oh well, let's hope they're saving the bullets and bracelets for another time. Other than that, the trailer blew my socks off...the Lasso, Etta, Steve, I'm kinda speechless right now, the costume looks great, Gal Gadot looks good, I can't wait to see this film!

We haven't got to see the movie yet, and even so, in the movie she'll be newly introduced to her powers meaning that they aren't at the full potential yet. Comic Wonder Woman had the same thing, in her first days as Wonder Woman she struggled to re-direct a nuke with her lasso. It's just an introduction so we need to wait for the movie.

Besides, the way she manhandled that one dude in the trailer should make her seem powerful.

Oh my lord......I'm speechless......can't this movie come out tomorrow? :)...........but there is something bothering me here....who is elena anaya playing?....She is in the trailer for about a few seconds if you pay attention and look nicely........she has some cracked up mask or something on her cheek......I can't seem to match her with any other character aside from baroness van gunther.......at first I thought she would be circe but it doesn't seem like she's gonna be in the film :( maybe she's circe......never know....I hope so....just gotta love circe........either way it looks amazing.......after so many years.........we got what we wanted

@willienotwilliam: My money's on Dr. Poison because I think she fits better within the ww1 theme, and I'm thinking she ingested poison sustaining injuries to the upper gastrointestinal tract or suffered a lab accident or somebody poured acid on her face, and whatever it was set her on this path of villainy. If so, that means she was whitewashed obviously, and speaking of which Philippus is nowhere to be seen

@archizooom: oh phillipus will show up, makes sense that she may have miss this trailer she's really only important in reference to Diana's training not to most of the main plots. It could be dr poison i guess but im still guessing she's gonna be doctor cyber since i dont think dr poison ever had a mask like that. It would be racist of them to white wash her tho her original depiction was also pretty racist but ofc the answer to racism is never more racism

@willienotwilliam: Well ww1 marked the beginning of chemical warfare if I'm not mistaken, Dr.Poison fits right in. And since the japanese were not involved in ww1 they would've reimagined her as european. Plus to me that looks more like a prosthetic than a mask tbh but we'll see, Dr.Cyber would be super cool too

This is too Awesome!

I only have two things I don't like:

One. The shield. I loved her bracelets and bullets trick and I love the bracelets better. But I guess they want to make her seem badass to appeal to the crowds.

Two. Her theme song. I don't like it. it's kickass but doesn't suit her. It reminds me of a theme you play when Superman's mad or something. Also, I don't like how they randomly put it in the trailer. God I'm gonna tune out if they play it in the movie.

Other than that, seems cool.

@saint_sophie: I agree. I hope the composer for this film can come up with a better theme for her as a character theme. Something like what Hans Zimmer did for the Man of Steel, where it conveys a sense of character other than "badass". Is She With You is a great battle theme, but it lacks any character, plus if I recall it has the MoS and Batman themes interspliced into it, so its really not "her" theme.

That's neat though, at least we'll have pure fighting skill feats while she's powerless.

That's my main problem with it too. We're fans of the character that's second only to Superman, but you'd never know that by watching the trailer. I don't see why she couldn't fly? Why put limitations on her? When Captain Marvel comes out she'll be easily the most powerful female superhero. Wonder Woman has lost that title and for what? To make people feel comfortable with her? It sucks.

@wonderfan409: Sure, I think Ann Wolfe was cast in this film, maybe she's Philippus. Also they racebent Senator Acantha as well as Orana who's played by a martial artist of asian descent, you're right they probably didn't focus on Themyscira in this trailer because the cg is unfinished at this juncture is all
