I wonder what supporting cast would be in the movie. Steve Trevor? Queen Hippolyta? And who will be the villain Hades? Ares?

Yes but I think a cartoon could be a good introduction to the movie, and also a movie is a big deal so testing the waters for what villains and supporting characters the viewers like in a cartoon could help people understand the movie better.

They should use the War of the Gods storyline

My hypothetical plans for Wonder Woman had the final film in the trilogy based off of War of the Gods.

I've been saying for a long time that right before Justice league is the best place for Wonder Woman. It will be great for people to get that little taste of her in BvS first, but she just has such a complex mythology that it needs to be dipped into before they get to Justice League. Also once they've introduced the Olympians it will be easy to jump from that to the New Gods so they can use Darkseid in Justice League.

Great to see; depending on my circumstances at that time, X-men: Apocalypse and this Wonder Woman may push me back to the movie theaters; I haven't been since X-men: First Class, although there have been movies that I wanted to see over the past couple of years.

They will base it off of the new 52 probably. I just hope they skip the origin and start it off like her current story.

I believe it's been 75 years now since she was created and thank goodness she now has a live-action film.

It's about time. I'm ready for this. And you know who would play the perfect role for WW? Megan Fox.

I actually love the Gal Gadot casting the more I think about it. She did all of her own stunts in the Fast and Furious movies. She was in the Israeli army. So she's badass. She's been asked to do the Ben Hur remake and she's going to appear in at least 4 DC movies so she must be a good actress or they must see something in her. Also when was the last time DC made a casting decision that was flat out wrong. None in The Dark Knight Trilogy. None in Man Of Steel. None in Watchmen. None in Green Lantern IMO. Maybe Hector Hammond actually. Finally Zack Snyder know how to make some badass female characters. Faora, Silk Spectre and Queen Gorgo.

I wonder how much sex appeal and violence will this have, I just cant see it being ahead of all the other movies about greek mythology and make Diana a new twist to the movie hero concept without it being generic and overused already.

Well the clay origin would have been a nice to twist to all the other Greek myth movies but...

@muffin_sangria: I disagree imthink the clay thing would have most movie goers scratching their heads. Being the natural born daughter of Hypollita and as such the Princess of the Amazons. Being a Demi-God allows for a movie that doesn't have to be all about her origin.

Sorry but the demi god origin just makes this a female lead greek mythos movie they only swapped out herc, Orion, Orpheus or Perseus for a woman.

If they need to bring the gods into it Hippolyte in greek myth is the daughter of ares.

I have very high expectations.

And by expectations I mean fan service.
