Wonder Woman
Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8719 issues.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

@outside_85: right? Its only a matter of time until readers want the real Thor back and we'll see She-Thor vanish. I'd rather have had them create a new female character that was a match/rival to Thor than try and "replace" him. Even if the female Thor is a match for him today, he'll eventually regain Mjolnir and surpass her. Would be much more significant if they created a woman who could match him without his own weapon.
@csg_cl: Well thats really the problem with how Marvel made Mjolnir part of Thor the way they did, they made his title and powers something you could pass on to others the same way you pass the Helmet of Fate around. All that said, it's also a great story-telling prop that they did this, because it means anyone could have the power of Thor provided they meet the requirements of the hammer rather than fit them with some lesser version of the same.
@csg_cl: Equal? Angela made him look like fodder in their fight. He got owned so badly that it isn't even funny.
Angela lost round 2. Thor was tired from fighting herds of angels in round 1 but in the rematch, beating Angela was pretty much a cinch for her in-form brother, thereby restoring the natural order of things (men>animals>women)
@outside_85: Gamora has beaten many people out of her weight such as Ronan so I don't get your point.

or God>Angel
or God>Angel
Angela is a Goddess though, she's Thor's biological sister that was taken and raised by Angels.
since when were all gods (even siblings) equals? I'm not even sure one can make the case that a goddess is even "femal" by human standards. whole different set of rules here. Thor is clearly meant to be the "mightiest" of the Norse gods (Odinforce level Odin aside), it doesn't much matter that he's depicted as male and more powerful than Angela ... he's more powerful than pretty much everyone.
Additional thought: Who's to say that Angela wasn't someone weakened by not growing up in Asgard? There are a million reasons why one god could be more powerful than another.
So, First Born is without healing factor?
@bigcimmerian: you mean why he still look bloody? it his new look
@bigcimmerian: you mean why he still look bloody? it his new look
I thought it's because Apollo burned him.
@agent41: She defeated Mongul, and held her own against First Born who curbstomped Orion.
@bigcimmerian: thought so too but he has been doing all this weird attack like his vein sucking out the life force out of his enemy that i think it a new form he has choosing since becoming king
@darknightspideyfanboy: Maybe you're right lol.
@bigcimmerian: Somehow it seems that all her feats are never enough, according to some users she should be doing these things 50 times per month to be consistent otherwise it's a high end feat and doesn't count, even though they count the 2 times where New 52 Superman showed planetary strength even if the rest of his feat catalogue is not on par with that,it seems that no matter what, she can never win.
Yeah lol, New 52 Superman needed Diana's help to lift Aircraft carrier when Atlanteans attacked, he was bleeding from punch by Batman on venom, but in other issue he pulled Brainiac's ship which is several times the size of Earth.
@agent41: DC themselves has stated that the New 52 characters will be more powerful than what they were before. So far only a number of characters have been truly improved. Most of these new writers know little about the actual characters so that is one of the issues. We are still waiting on Secret Origins so we can get bckground info on them. I thought the New 52 was going to be a better direction but all it's doing is leaving us puzzled.
@outside_85: Gamora has beaten many people out of her weight such as Ronan so I don't get your point.
Because Gamora knows where to hit people, same as Angela who has better reflexes, same as Batman and every other high-end MA.
