I remember there being a thing where Bizarro defeated Wonder Woman (which was dumb), and I think there was something about rape going on in that situation. I didn't actually read the thing, so I don't really know. But yeah, was she ever raped? I mean, I really hope not, because I like Diana and her being raped would be awful (I'm already really uncomfortable with the idea of rape being in comics and stuff).
Wonder Woman
Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8807 issues.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
Was Wonder Woman ever raped?
No, what you are referring to is the Trinity mini-series, where Diana though of Ra's al Ghul's plan as such... since he intended to invade and conquer Paradise Island and use the Amazons to breed a new form of superhuman.
But no, Diana has never had that misfortune... actually I am pretty certain she's got the longest standing V-card in all of comics unless you venture into non-canon stuff and alternate universes.
i heard there was plan for it after death of superman,Knightfall and Emerald twilight were huge success but dc decide against it
@darknightspideyfanboy: That makes sense. They did turn Hal into a mass murderer.

@ganon15: It was by Hercules.

Mark Millar once wrote a 22 page comic called The Rape of Wonder Woman and pitched it to DC shortly after The Death of Superman came out. The contents were never revealed, but from what I've heard it was just 22 pages of Wonder Woman getting raped with no other plot or context. For obvious reasons, DC never took him up on that pitch.
@saren: This is why we all love Mark Millar.

That's basically the sole purpose of Millar's life - write unexplainable sick stuff.
I luv that guy!

Just sounds like that guy was from rule34 and that would have scarred and smeared everything that wonder woman was and is to female readers everywhere. She would have been even worse to debate on if that had gone through and who the hell could try that on her. Well I can think of a few from her rougue gallery in Azz run...

Sounds just like Mark, how this hack gets work I'll never know.
@entropy_aegis: People love sh*t like that! It seems like Millar will always find work as long as people continue to be themselves and like stuff like that. I mean who wouldn\t read 22 pages of Wonder Woman get raped.......everyone would read it!

I am, don't worry.
I dont think any good writer would use rape to sell comics. Plus most rapes are erased or denied exept Superman and Big Barda.
I'm pretty sure wonder woman would just beat the snot out of anyone who would try that
Unless it's someone like Darkseid or Trigon.

He has a point, this isn't actually far off from Millar's work,he gets rewarded for this crap. His properties have been adapted to live action flicks.
@entropy_aegis: I know all about Frank Miller's obsession with rape and prostitution, it worries me that lots of men may secretly fetishize them as well
Don't give DC any ideas
@spidey_jackson: not sure who this hercules is , but she was raped by Heracles
What the fu... NO!

I have a prefect picture response to that. Which may very well offend some wonder woman fans so I'll refrain

Superman and Big Barda were almost raped in away. They were gonna be forced to have sex with each other.
@bsaa: He's been called both. But his Roman name is more popular.
