Sweet Baby Jesus let this be TRUE! XD If it is I will personally call up Gal Gadot and send her over to Rich Johnson's house so she can give him a boney hug!

Ok. Great. As long as he retcons everything new52...
Maybe he will go for the story he planned for WW:Earth One. Set in WWII. Which will tie with the upcoming movie (in a way) and it also tie with the concept of rebirth that is legacy.
Rucka's characterization of Diana needs no improvement. She was kind, regal and noble under his pen, this couldn't be better (possible) news.
Oh? So Bennett was likely? Well, I hope Rucka explains how Wonder Woman met Ferdinand and he start back at the Dr. Psycho and Veronica Cale dynamic. I hope he leaves the Greek Myth back and forget that Maxwell Lord issue. I'm having account issues until next week, so, that's why I haven't seen Wonder Woman 50 or Red Sonja 3 yet (e.g. to get the issues digitally). Well, guess not good news for Finch when she was really picking up steam. Maybe Cyclopes replaces Ferdinand or comes with him?
@scorpio_cassadine: idk she seemed too aloof and above it all some times and too perfect(working for the un, writing a book, personal cheff). That girl scout warrior thing just isn't how I like Diana she's just not as compelling

I thought she was sweet, like the round-a-bout way she told Ferdinand that she didn't like cilantro, so it wouldn't hurt his feelings.
@theexile285: I liked Rucka's run well enough (not my fave though), but I really wanted fresh eyes for something new but honors her history. If Rucka's basically making a sequel of his own run, I don't know if I'll like that. That said, I'm iffy on Bennett. She'd be good for elseworld stories, but I don't know if she can hold a run on her own.

Ditto. Azzarello's run is a story that I really didn't like on a conceptual-level but I enjoyed reading it. Rucka's is the opposite, his run ticks all the boxes but I didn't quite connect with his Wonder Woman. I didn't enjoy Hiketeia very much either. I think Jimenez deserves a second crack at Wonder Woman though since it's a bi-weekly comic I suppose he's got enough on his plate.
Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp/Nicola Scott are the new creative team - "The book will alternate timelines, with every other issue featuring a Wonder Woman: Year One story [illustrated by Nicola Scott]"
Liam Sharp
Nicola Scott
Rucka writing Rebirth is the only thing keeping this from being the weekend that ruined Wonder Woman.
So that means, no Phil Jimenez...
I'm glad, I liked Phil's writing a lot more than his art. It was good at the time but now it seems so dated.
Both artists look fantastic. The Scott art looks very Wonder Woman and the Sharp one looks badass (Cheetah...I see you back there). As much as I'm on the fence about the whole "alternate time" thing and Greg Rucka being back on, I am definitely not displeased so far, but that still remains to be seen.
Anybody else notice that in Nicola's drawing the lasso is a whip? Though I miss the five point stars in Liam's picture, I love that Themyscira is looking like paradise again. I'm also glad the brown leather strap thing across her torso is missing in Jim Lee's official Rebirth Trinity image.

This would make a nice trinity wallpaper if I could get rid of all that text...
Idk how I feel about the lasso being more like a whip. I hope it'll still glow when in use. Also, I'm really glad Diana will be wearing a cape again (sometimes).
@theexile285: i hope is not more whip like i was hoping it was drawn weirdly here or something
@agent41: The Finch run ends at #52 so 2 more to go. I'm not sure whether Wonder Woman will get a Rebirth Special one-shot, I think Rebirth kicks off in June.
@theexile285: You might also like this one which you've probably seen already ;)
By Francis Manapul
@archizooom: Yep. This series should have some constantly good covers from Manapul.
@theexile285: And a pretty sloppy script, if his Superman Darkseid one-shot is anything to go by
@archizooom: I'm hoping he'll do better with Trinity. Desperately hoping...
@squalleon: Rumor has turned into fact. Rucka is the writer.
So, I guess we have a new incarnation of Wondy, with the New52 behind its heels. They're taking Wondy back to her warrior roots.

"Back to her warrior roots"?

Is it my imagination or is SM wearing wedges?
