    Wonder Woman

Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8805 issues.

The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

Music of wonder women...and Wonder Woman.

    Hey Wonder fans....

So how 'bout it? Wonder Woman will finally have her own movie soon! And that means there'll be a soundtrack! And I been gathering my thoughts on who ought to be on the album. I'm not up to speed on the new generation of song writers, but instead....

I've looked to what's already been made but not put all into one source.....There've already been many WW songs, written by various artist over the years past.

You can read about it here:

Somebody needs to tell the Marston family that there's yet another WW song that's been released. One that is sung by a Spanish girl band.

Oh, if you need the complete "Who Is WW?" manuscript: http://www.mediafire.com/view/0qcag8bb0x8cjgo/WhoIsWonderWoman_PDF--manuscript.pdf

Artist Tricky created what is perhaps the most energetic WW song--sampling the original 70's theme with an empowering sublime strength--that will have you picturing WW running all over the place saving people one after the other with ease. Interestingly, Tricky was in the movie THE FIFTH ELEMENT, which features another descendant of the Wonder Woman archetype, Leeloo. Artist Dorit even created a music video that features a bustier that is shaped like a Valentine heart, much like one of my old red WW valentines that I made in elementary school. The cute song by Miss O Beat is sung by a little 7 years old girl. Frankmusik and Leaf each wrote a song that I swore would've made it onto the now-defunct David E. Kelley TV series.

Also could've made it onto the soundtrack is a WW song just recently released by the Spanish girl band Sweet California.

    Check out their song(s):

I'm about as sure that the above artists' WW songs will be on the official Wonder Woman movie soundtrack as I am that Krystal Harris's SG song will be on the upcoming "Supergirl" TV series soundtrack. Which is to say...I'm not 100% sure, but I sure hope so! Because they're all perfect for showing different themes & moods of Wonder Woman's life!!

    So, fans....

What songs or artists do YOU think should be on the first official Wonder Woman soundtrack? (Movie or TV)

Soundtracks are tricky, soundtracks are more often miss than hit, CBM soundtracks often date the movie prematurely. Catwoman and Daredevil had soundtracks.

    Scores are timeless.

Here's what I have to say to the owner of DCwomenKickingasswhen she and her friends talked about the New52 Wonder Woman:

Interesting... you gals vote Wonder Woman as the #1 superhero, yet you give no good reason for it.

If only you gals knew the REAL Wonder Woman, maybe you'd truly understand how significant she is to our real world......and then her #1 spot will have MORE meaning.

With the proliferation & popularity of rash anti-heros, writers & fans have been making Wonder Woman out to be the same way...just to make her more interesting & badass, thinking that she was formerly just some goody two shoe Rainbow Brite type.

If people only knew Wonder Woman's roots, they would see that she has been very interesting all along...they would see Wonder Woman in a whole new light. The fact of the matter was that her cool-factor was built in. There's no need to make her more anti-hero or give her some attitude.

In fact, this sentiment is exactly what William Marston was trying to counter with how he designed Wonder Woman...which was, Force adapted to Love.

(See my WW article that is chock full of revelations) http://www.mediafire.com/view/0qcag8bb0x8cjgo/WhoIsWonderWoman_PDF--manuscript.pdf

Soundtracks are difficult to get right, because pretty much everyone has something different playing in their heads or their speakers when reading WW or any comics for that matter. The list provided above for instance, I think, would be a horrible choice.

Scores and music made for the movie (like the Bond-themes), those are the ones to go for.
