The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
I've gotten into Wonder Woman recently and I know of the most known Wondy stuff like Perez, Rucka, Simone, and such, but is there any obscure stuff that's any good? Is anything from the 90s good?
Of course there's something worth reading in the 90s, second only to Marston; and, that 90s reading material, everything written by Messner-Loebs involving Wonder Woman; and, The Contest is the most popular, as this is where Artemis is introduced (and, outside of the Wonder Woman book, try Artemis: Requiem); however, I'm biased towards this style of writing as opposed to the writing style of people like Perez, Rucka, and Simone, although I did enjoyed some aspects of those runs, so, you will probably either really like or really dislike these recommendations; however, the entire runs of Marston and Messner-Loebs is why I'm fascinated by the Wonder Woman comics; but, one flaw with Messner-Loebs: he never wrote Dr. Psycho into the Wonder Woman book and it appears that he was not going to be in his radar. I liked large aspects of John Byrne and Eric Luke's run too (e.g. the battle with all of the gods of various religions, including Christianity by Cronus).
I have been looking for the wonder woman comic this panel is from. This is a screenshot from a bonus feature in BvS. It caught my attention because I have been looking for this panel for over 15 years. It's 90s Wonder Woman. It would be amazing if someone found it. :)
I often see a mixed reception on Messner Loebs's run. I liked it, but that could be from my generally liking him, and not particularly caring all too much about Wonder Woman.
As a new reader I've read most of the New 52 and Rebirth and am going through the Simone and Perez stuff and I'll be getting the Golden Age Omnibus soon. All of this is pretty easy to get. Messner-Loebs and Luke's run looks a little harder to come by in trade though. Hopefully DC will collect more stuff with the movie coming out but with their track record of not capitalizing I'm not too optimistic.

It's from this run but I don't know which issue.
This is the graphic novel, it has my highest recommendation. It's not as deep as comics are today, but it's far deeper than the Bronze Age two issue story it was based on.
You have to be tolerant of Mike Deodato's cheescake art, but the storyline is really good even though it's simplistic. You have to read it to truly understand Artemis and how she relates to Wonder Woman.
The White Magician proves to be a pretty formidable villain, he kills Artemis and she has to fight her way out of hell during her mini-series Requiem.
During the short lived Amalgam Universe there was a one shot mash-up of Wonder Woman and Marvel's The Punisher I thought was cool because of Gary Frank's art.
Diana Prince and Trevor Castle are married with a kid and trouble ensues. It was way better than Byrne's WW and Storm mash-up that came out at the same time.
