    Wonder Woman

Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8808 issues.

The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

If Wonder Woman's origin has officially changed since the relaunch...

Why has the blurb not changed about her origin on comicvine?
Her origin from the New 52 is no more so I think you should just remove the New 52 part out.

So I'm starting to get back into DC (started off with Titans Hunt and Titans which I love every bit of it) and this whole Rebirth thing.. so it's not rebooting/relaunch like the New 52? Just like retconning everything that DC probably screwed up on with the New 52? Cause tbh that's what it seems like.. and I assume that's what the intent is? I mean, I actually like Donna as a character now.

Essentially, yes. Other than what they're doing with Superman. But imo, they're finally doing right by Wonder Woman by retconning out a lot of the atrocities heaped onto her title in the last 5 years.

So far you can't say for certain whats actually been retconned before you find out which is the truth and which is not... atm the only real retcon we can confirm is Barbara not always having been a bloodthirsty killer, by her reference that she was 'pure/worthy' by the time she met Diana, which should undo the Villains Month issue where she killed her brother when she was like 8 (hopefully the Cult of Hippolyta disappears along with it).
