Wonder Woman intervenes in the carnage of the Egyptian Amazons, but must then contend with the fury of the Cheetah.

Inspector Eddie Indelicato is at Michael Shands house as he wants to check something about Wonder Woman and he doesn’t want to use the police department’s computer as they got in trouble the last time they got involved with in Wonder Woman’s affairs. Indelicato, prompting Shands to read it, reads it. Tamsyn McConnell picked up Barbara Minerva from the airport the day before Minerva tried to steal Wonder Woman’s lasso and then was killed when Minerva met up with Wonder Woman. The next day, Wonder Woman had also encountered a large cat. Many murders are connected to this cat, such as the mercenaries hired to free the Khunds hired by Minerva. It all adds up in Shands’ head as he connects the murder of the Khunds as they too were murdered and the English archaeologist who visited the West Coast at the same time.

In Syene Kesh, the quiet is interrupted by the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall where they run to the hotel and run up to Barbara Minerva’s room. Chuma runs outside into the hallway to find more Amazons and throws a gas grenade, killing all those who have sucked in the toxic gas. He then tells Minerva that she must do what he says, or else she will die. He hands her the dagger and instructs her to perform the ritual on the sedated Amazons. Queen Anahid is informed of the losses due to Chuma and orders one of the Amazons Gisa to burn down the whole village. She brings some Amazons with her but her chariot is upturned as two spears change her course of path. She looks up and finds Wonder Woman. They retaliate by firing on her with their own guns but she is too quick and dodges them. She fires arrows on them knocking their weapons out of their hands and they try to reach for their fallen weapons but fail as she runs through them knocking them out.

A Bana-Mighdall Amazon is climbing the wall to Minerva’s window but falls to her death as a growl in heard. Wonder Woman turns to find the source of the growl and sees Cheetah. Wonder Woman tries to make her way towards Cheetah but is blocked by more Amazons. Meanwhile, Queen Anahid is the only one standing in front of Cheetah. Cheetah manages to knock Anahid against a wall but she retaliates with the cobra spit. Anahid is surprised that she also survives the toxic. Cheetah lets out a growl but then slashes Anahid’s stomach open. Cheetah is about to finish Anahid when a punch sends her flying and sees Wonder Woman.

Even though Wonder Woman is a pacifist, she too has a breaking point and she tells Cheetah to stop this or else she will have to kill her. Wonder Woman and Cheetah are fighting when Gisa shows up and sees a chance to destroy the both of them at the same time. However, Anahid forbids it as Wonder Woman had saved her and this is a fight between Cheetah and Wonder Woman.

The both of them are fighting when Wonder Woman remembers Chuma. From the top of the building from a window, he fires a dart and it hits her thigh. She manages to survive, but the toxins are affecting her. This allows Cheetah to strike Wonder Woman, with left and right scratches. The Amazons of Bana-Mighdall fire upon Chuma and he falls to the ground. It is an unfair unadvantage for Wonder Woman, and they tell her that they will hold off Cheetah until Wonder Woman extracts the poisons from her body. She moves away from the battle, and uses her tiara to cut open the wound and sucks the poisons into her mouth and then spits them out. While the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall are fighting off Cheetah, Wonder Woman feels more revitalised than ever and throws a rock towards Cheetah, catching her attention. The building near them then starts to rumble from their fight and Cheetah attempts to strangle Wonder Woman but she tears off Cheetah’s tail and she howls in agony. With the tail in her hand she uses it as a whip, sending Cheetah into a wall. With Cheetah down, she punches Cheetah multiple times, each punch getting harder and harder. Wonder Woman looks down on Cheetah. More Amazon warriors come with their weapons ready but Gisa orders them to holster their weapons. Queen Anahid had died from the wounds, but Wonder Woman has avenged her and ordered Wonder Woman to be spared.

Wonder Woman is tending to Chuma’s wounds, but they too are too difficult to mend. He thanks her for not killing Cheetah and asks her if she can get the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall to spare Cheetah as she is the most important to him, in addition to the Plant God. She replies that they will not kill Cheetah if she returns the artifacts. He tells them that they are in a rubbish bin on the other side of the hotel. He slips away and he tells Wonder Woman to tell his mistress that he will always be his servant. She covers him with a cloth and tells the Amazons to follow her and make their way to the other side of the hotel. She searches under some rubble and finds her lasso lying beneath the rubble. Nehebka asks why such a rope is so important, and Wonder Woman proves a point as the lasso points towards the artifact. Nehebka searches under the pieces of rubble and finds their own artifact. Wonder Woman watches Nehebka hold up the prized artifact just like her mother did… and realises that the artifact is the other Golden Girdle of Gaea!

This isn't the best ever ending to a story arc, but its still a pretty good one.  Two different groups are after Barbara Minerva, one to kill and one to stop her.  After the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall try to kill the Cheetah, Diana finally arrives and succeeds in getting them to stop fighting while she goes to apprehend the Cheetah alone.  There are a few changes in momentum in the battle as can be expected but was nicest to see is Diana's motivation.  Despite being poisoned and imprisoned in each...
