This issue serves as both the end of the story arc involving the redefinition of Donna Troy's history and also the end of Byrne's work on the title.  As usual the story could have been a little tighter but in terms of a final issue from a writer it is a pretty good send-off.  I have said before the clarity of Donna Troy's origin is Byrne's most lasting contribution to the Wonder Woman title and character history.  The end wraps up well also as Byrne returns the title of Wonder Woman to Diana, effectively undoing his work of the past year or so (in fact Diana spent about a third of the time on the Byrne run not as Wonder Woman.)  I think what was most notable at the end though is all of the characters coming together sort of for a last meeting now that the series is off in a different direction.  Byrne was up and down for his whole run but here he ends on a high.
