You talking about the last arc with Richard Isanove?

    Yep, what's it like?

Well, it is set in the 1930's during the Prohibition Era(Wolverine is bootlegging alcohol), and since Wolverine is fairly young at this point of time, he gives off more of a more gullible, soft natured feel(Which is fairly refreshing IMO). The story is pretty emotional, I'd recommend it.

Sounds good, I'm a sucker for anything set in that time period I'm also liking the sound of issue 20 with the Valentine's Day Massacre

@jonny_anonymous: Giving this a bump because I just got Savage Wolverine #17, and aw man, I loved this issue to death. Just so heart warming and legitimately touching. Really reminded me why I love Wolverine, The final scene almost had me crying. I absolutely loved how Logan was written. I'm seriously hoping he gets characterized like this consistently after the whole death thing ends.

@wolverine08: wolverine works best when he's a bad ass drifter rolling in to town on his bike. Looking forward to Gail Simon's story.

Been reading since issue #1 and enjoyed most of the arcs, IMO Frank Cho's run at the very start was the best yet, gorgeous art as well. Isanove's story was indeed fantastic too.

..I gave up on Savage Wolverine. Didn't really like the last story too much and the one before it with the animals was "meh".

strangely, I really loved the 3 issue mini series drawn by Jack Loughbridge (issues 9-11). The story was average, but it was different and the art was just out of this world!

Yeah this series is pretty awesome. It's great for those that want to read their Logan just outside the constraints of the current continuity. If I tried to sum this series up in one sentence, I would say "This is like your everyday Wolverine."
