Through it all, I'd say my fav. voice actor for Logan would be Steven Blum (multple uses) with Mark Hamil (X2: Wolverine's revenge) a strong second.
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16086 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Who was the best Wolverine voice actor?
steve blums good, everyone likes steve blums wolverine, he does his voice in everything now, i also liked mark hammils voice in wolverines revenge, but ill say my favorite is scott mcniel, because im a big fan of x-men evolution.
Cal Dodd (from X Men the animated series)
I like Steve Blum and Scott Mcneil too but Cal Dodd will always be the voice of Wolverine to me.
I like them all on some level, Marvel does a good job of casting voices for Wolverine. Steven Blum is very good, I liked him the moment I heard him, I said THAT is Wolverine, but you can tell eventually he's actually trying very hard to keep that kinda voice. In the Wolverine and the X-Men when he roars it comes off as more squeaky sometimes, not very intimidating, for the reason it doesn't appear natural I say Cal Dodd is the best voice actor I've ever heard for Logan. Hell you look at the old school X-Men Animated Series those voice actors are some serious stuff, that show could quite possibly have the best voice cast I've ever heard, you ever really listen to Apocalypse? That guys no joke

I am actually rewatching the series now, and I have to agree, I really do prefer Cal over Steve. To me, Cal IS Wolverine, as I grew up with the show. Steven Blum is an amazing voice actor, but he is in everything. Personally, I rather have a small time voice actor that fits the character perfectly than have a big name who can just do the job really well.
Steven Blum has pretty much become the definitive voice actor for Wolverine, much as Kevin Conroy became for Batman
Cathal J. Dodd or Charles J. Dodd, hands down. How can you guys think otherwise? It was so awesome. My only regret is that he retired from voicing him in 2005.
Steve Blum, for me
I think he does a GREAT job with Logan
Mark Hammil wasnt' bad at all either- but I preffer him crazy like Joker or Ozai
When ever I read the comics, its always a combination between Cal Dodd, Mark Hamill and Scott McNeil all rolled into one.
