Please please put a couple of Adamantium rounds in logan.s head so he can go back to the character he once was not the self righteous bastard he is now.
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16088 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Well somebody please shoot him in the head already.
Don't worry Wolverine doesn't remember everything of who he was apparently he might become a huge bad ass again.

Its like he and Cyclops switched place. Wolverine used to be so edgy, and now he is just a kitten who likes to hiss alot. Where Cyclops used to be so straight laced and now he makes 50 shades of Grey look black and white.
I made that comparison quite some time ago. Are you stealing from me?

Not that I'm aware. Though you could be subconsciously planting ideas in my brain. That's right this is now YOUR fault.

yes scott is the bad now and wolverine is the good and wolverine open a school for mutants to be kids and not soldiers
I honestly love Wolverine still - but him being at Avengers Mansion and teaching a school at once isn't believable... But I love his relationship with Spider-Man though, it reminds me of a rough version of Green Lantern and Flash.

and that's great and an awesome character moment for him, but he needs to focus on the school. Savage is going to be what his third monthly comic not to mention all the other titles he's in regularly or as a "guest" role for a story arc. Its gotten beyond ridiculous, he should have quit the avengers after starting the school and rejoined the "Uncanny Avengers" because of the anti mutant sentiment to help out but that's it.
While I get what everyone is saying wouldn't you get sick of reading the same old cliched characterizations of Wolverine or any X-Men character for that matter? A character has to go somewhere, has to evolve, I for one am enjoying me some Wolverine still but like someone above said he's in waaaay too many titles to make it believable.
EVERY character in marvel has made some changes...That's the one thing that is too realistic in comics. Every hero or villain has changed somehow for better or worse. To be honest if you don't like a mature wolverine just go read some of his other comics he's still pretty badass in those.
Wolverine is in my top three and I just don't like the way he's being portrayed lately. As a longtime reader, I would rather him stay soldier to someone else's sargeant. When he is off on his own, I completely see him being a leader of sorts with whomever he might be sharing panel time with but this whole him being so judgmental towards Cyclops is grating.
Its just the writing lately that annoys. At least for me.
I agree with this. I still love Wolverine, but he's just in too many titles lately and his character is getting mixed up in every title. That's why I just stick to the older X-Men stories involving Wolverine, especially Wolverine: Weapon X and Wolverine by Chris Claremont.Wolverine is in my top three and I just don't like the way he's being portrayed lately. I think with Whedon's Astonishing something occured to me. Less is More.
I still like Wolverine though, just depends in where i read him.
but then i only really read Uncanny X-Men and X-Force.
