I have a question. I know that Old Man Logan is an 8-part story arc and the solicits for Wolverine #72 state that it will be Part 7 of the story. However, the Marvel solicitations for May state that issues #73 and #74 will contain two stories spread over the two issues, neither of which are Old Man Logan (one is titled "A Day in the Life" and the other is "One Percenter"). Therefore, does anyone know when Part 8 of Old Man Logan will be released?
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16086 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.

Ok Part 5 shows Logan killing everyone, and "Bullseye" is the last to die and they "keep taking chunks out of each other" They fought for hours......well it turns out to be Jubilee.....
So Jubilee fought Logan for hours? WTF?

remember that jubilee has been with the x-men since her early teenage years, was trained by wolverine, and i'm guessing this takes place after her time with the new warriors, plus in that timeline she must get her powers back at some point....jubilee isn't just some little helpless teenager

Its in the future, So lets say X-39
"remember that jubilee has been with the x-men since her early teenage years, was trained by wolverine, and i'm guessing this takes place after her time with the new warriors, plus in that timeline she must get her powers back at some point....jubilee isn't just some little helpless teenager"Wolverine would rip her to shreds in seconds. Mostly cause he wouldn't be holding back like her.
so i'm reading old man logan issue 1 and i just realized that spider-man's daughter tonya is black so that means mary jane isn't her mother i wonder who is

This series kicks some major ass, Mark Millar is a genius!!!
I can't wait for when they put this all together and make it a graphic novel, like they did with Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns, I'm buying it since I'm missing issues 2 and 3. Also apparently the Death of Captain America is suppose to play an important part in this series (I wonder what sick twisted idea Mark has floating in that brain of his)

"The long ass lay overs between issues is killing the success of this event in my opinion.Still, it'll be epic in hardback.

Today's the day. Finally another issue of "Old Man Logan" hits the the shelves. And most likely will fly off them just as fast. In my opinion this is one of the best Wolverine stories, ever.
Hell yeah man, really worth the pick up, just to see why wolverine wont pop his claws and Old Hawkeye is a bad ass, maybe wait for the trade as it has been going awhile now.
Another good issue. I love the landmarks they come up with in each story. It leaves you wondering what the f happened. Whats the story behind them? Hopefully Marvel doesn't continue releasing new issues once every year.
I was going to say the same thing earlier this morning and I hesitated. I can think of one arc that is possibly better but Old Man Logan is one of the best series out. I've all but given up on most of the other X-Titles. Old Man Logan on the other hand has taken an overused character and actually crafted a badass arc for him.

Messiah War looks like it'll be tight.
The new issue of X-Factor looks really good. But the art on X-Force just ain't my style. Plus I'm kinda tired of the recycled story lines. "The Mutants vs the Friends of Humanity" Been there, done that.

From the old stuff of Wolverine or the newer one?

Ive all but given up on X-men Arcs, sometimes their entertaining and a real cool read (Messiah Complex) but then sometimes i just dont care to read anything (Secret Invasion/Dark Rain so far).Which in a way pisses me off cause ive been a avid Marvel fan for many years
"What Arc? From the old stuff of Wolverine or the newer one?"Its an old one. The one were Logan becomes a Samurai and Mariko Yashida dies.
"The Mutants vs the Friends of Humanity" Been there, done that.
That's a valid point, but I still like the premise, and at least something is actually happening in the book.
I like dystopian futures and, as you pointed out, finding out what happened to allow them to come to occurence piece by piece, I find that they're always the best issues (In recent memory Batman #666, Layla Miller One-Shot etc). Hence OML is a fun read.
@ DC: Messiah Complex was an awesome story, shame the ending destroyed most of the X-titles.
