Not really. All big time superheroes are overexposed with Marvel and DC being money hungry.

For getting into Wolverine, I'd suggest "Origin" by Paul Jenkins, "Wolverine" by Chris Claremont, "Weapon X" by Barry Windsor Smith, Logan by Brian K. Vaughn, "The Package" by Stuart Moore, and Enemy of State by Mark Millar.

I wouldn't say overused unless you consider Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Captain America overused, if you do than yes Wolvie is also overused lol. getting into Wolvie look at the above post :)

Wolverine was created in october 74 that means he has been around for 29 years. 29x365 (not including leap year) is 10585 according to comic vine he has 10136 issues almost a issue per day (0.96). Now of curse this is also tpb, hardcovers and non english version however I think it gives a fine base if you use same data for Batman. Batman has appeared in 10477 issues over the curse of 74 years (27010 days). 10477/27010. That is 0.39 issue per day.

Anybody who appears in more then one solo title and one team title a month is overused.
