You go younger or older but if you were charged with the task of recasting Wolverine who would you pick to play him in a movie/tv show etc?
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16088 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
If you had to recast Wolverine, who would play him?
Peter Dinklage.
That's not sarcasm, I want it. I want it now.
I thought they already cast him as Puck.
Prepare to flame on, but if I couldn't have Hugh Jackman, I'd at least call Jackie Earle Haley and tell him to grow a beard then come in for an audition. I know he's a bit older, but at least he's like 5' 5", can pull off the growl as seen in Watchmen, and just kind of looks like an animal. With a beard and the proper hair and make-up, I'm intrigued.

Puck can go to hell.

Puck did go to hell:
Death
During a battle with the Collective, it appeared all the members of Alpha Flight were either seriously hurt or killed. Puck was one of the teammates to have died. Surviving member Sasquatch made a new team called Omega Flight to keep the legacy of his fallen team-members alive. Some months later, when Wolverine was brought to Hell by a demon whom, it was learned that Puck was in Hell with Logan. Why he was stuck here, and not heaven and whether this was because of a trick or that he was truly deemed not worthy of heaven remained to be seen.
Honestly, i see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and i'd have a difficult time accepting someone else to play him unless he gave up the role himself. I hear a lot of complaints about his size and that he's too handsome to play him, but i don't agree. He makes Wolverine come to life on the screen imo.
Go back to the guy who was Originally Cast as Wolverine. Dougray Scott.
I like this option
I actually had thought of this before. If he was still in his 30-40's, I'd have said Jack Nicholson. He did play a werewolf once, so that's kinda close XD

This, Hugh I believe is a great Wolverine. There have been some bad movies (origins,x3) but that was the writers, producers, directors...etc. He has played the part perfect (for a movie version).
Christian Kane From Leverage.
This! Short?-check. Compact?-check. Plays a convincing badass?-definite check.
@amratheking: or Norman Reedus. He's pretty Bada** on TWD.
