Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16088 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Bone Claws vs Adamantium Claws
Wolverine has his adamantium claws which was basically the standard for the eightys and even now. But during the mid ninities wolverine got those tanned bone claws. So the question is what is more threatning wolverine giving you his speech about his adamantium claws. Or wolverine stabbing you repeatedly with his bone claws.
I liked the bone claw because I liked it how Wolverine became more animal like. I want him to go back to that.
I liked the time Wolverine had bone claws, but I prefer adamantium.
As to which is more threatening? The bone claws do look more terrifying, but all of Wolvie's enemies know that his adamantium claws can pierce through almost everything so... adamantium.
I can't imagine wolverine without adamantium; in my mind, the two terms are damn near synonymous. While the bone claws are cool, there's nothing like seeing adamantium claws slice through Wolverine's foes like butter
Wolverine without adamantium seems wrong. Not to mention the claws are halved in their usefulness. He loses the ability to slash with Bone Claws.
Stick with the metal, it's more badass.
I mean would you be more afraid of a dude who just grews three extra long and sharp fingers, or a guy who just popped 4 steak knives up from between his knuckles?
Wolverine in astonishing suit NEEDS adamantium claws
but if he was in the wilderness fighting Sabretooth and was completely beserker then bone claws would be chill
@darksteelwing: agreed
Synthetics Sonata
The adamantium claws are definitely more representative of the modernity-paranoia themes (i.e., genetic engineering ethics) in X-Men (Marvel Comics) stories. They infer more dialogue about the dangers of synthetics.
The bone claws prime Wolverine for more exhilarating tangles with Sabretooth, his long-time beastly rival.
With all the people in the real world today typing away on computer keyboards, the problem of finger-stress related Carpal Tunnel Syndrome definitely illuminates why Wolverine's adamantium claws are symbolic of new age muscularity.
