A continuation of the Backlash series from 1994. This series follows the core cast from Backlash, Backlash, Crimson, and Taboo, along with new recruit for a goverment superhero program titled Wildcore.
After narrowly escaping Lilitu and the Symbiote Sammeal, Backlash leads Taboo and Serge back to PSI only to find Zealot and her unit missing in action. Meanwhile, in an attempt to rescue the wizard Azrum in the , Zealot and WildC.O.R.E. fall captive to Tapestry. In order to save her teammates, Zealot must duel Tapestry inside the Mystical Plain. There she must confront not only the Soul Weaver, but the ghost from her past as well.
