Betrayed by one of their own, the WildC.A.T.s are overwhelmed by the Troika and their new ally, the clairvoyant Providence. Worse yet, a strange and mysterious woman of power makes the scene and she could mean the end of life on this planet as we know it. Zealot recognizes her and immediately retreats, Huntsman and Miranda in tow, to get some much needed backup.
The WildC.A.T.s realize that Voodoo has led them into a trap, but not that she is actually possessed by an alien. While Zealot, Huntsman and his ward, Miranda Tai, chase after Voodoo, the WildC.A.T.s are beaten by Providence and the members of Troika. Soon Tapestry and Lord Soma arrive, the ones who have hired the alien possessing Voodoo as well as the others. Tapestry tries to steal the essence of Lord Emp, making him her pawn, so she could have power over him. It is revealed that Tapestry has a history with Zealot, who has asked for assistance from her sister Savant.
