    Overview

The Deviants are caught up in the intrigues of World War II in an adventure set during the WildStorm century that might have been, courtesy of writer/artist Kevin Altieri (GEN13: GRUNGE SAVES THE WORLD)! A young Russian soldier unprepared for the horrors of World War II goes AWOL, only to be taken prisoner by the U.S. Forced to choose between being returned to the Russians for punishment or taking part in a secret military experiment, he joins other army "deviants" in a bold operation that will change the war's outcome. Can this timid grunt be transformed into the ultimate soldier he never wanted to be?
