WetWorks barely managed to destroy the vampire/werewolf hybrid, Keradon the Soulbender. During the melee, Claymore merged his symbiote with Jester, creating a near invincible fighting machine. After their battle, the team discovered that Grail was still alive and living inside an energy sphere. Realizing he would not survive in that form, Grail used Dozer to act as a conduit until he could find a way to manifest a new body. If the surprise of Grail's return was not enough, the team becomes aware of an alien ship on its way to Earth.
