Calling herself "Wasp", she became Pym's superhero partner. Later, she became a founding member and the first female member of the Avengers.

    I'm curious- what happened to Janet van Dyne's mother- why is she not even mentioned( we don't even know her name)? Were they divorced or did she die(and if so how). Was Vernon van Dyne a widower?
