    This series continues to impress me with its suspense and character development.  At this point in comic book history there is an overwhelming amount of cliches to be dealt with in terms of writing.  This can lead two ways, either to being original which can risk being non-engaging to the reader, or working with the cliches and putting a new spin on them.  In the case of this series it is effectively doing both of these at the same time.  The battle with the Daemonite shows some fairly typical w...

    Williamson Took a Hammer To Marz's Glass 0

    Let's start with the positives. I was excited because this is the best cover this series has had. There's a super effective use of black space, the yin-yang motif is excellent, with lots of nice little details in it, and Voodoo's boobs aren't hyperfocused. Oh and Sam Basri's interior art is still great.And I'm pretty much done with that. Everyone else seems to be ok with Josh Williamson, which baffles me.     Voodoo # 5 0

    This is a great issue. We have two alien races going at it. The character development is very hot indeed. We have Voodoo going green her beautiful eyes glowing red and Daemonite with optipus tenicials coming out his mouth. So far Voodoo has been a great book and continues to be a great book. And this story is coming out very nicely. I am enjoying this read very much. The law is still on Voodoo tracks.
