Visigoth

Origin

Visigoth was a warrior who was turned into a vampire after being fatally wounded during the Siege of Ravenna. Later, he joined a vampire clan called the Forgiven led by Raizo Kodo alongside Inka, Nighteyes, Quickshot and Sanjay. The Forgiven are a special group of vampires because they refuse to give into their kind's predatory ways and feed on human blood. Visigoth was taken in by Raizo when he also chose to reject the basic nature of vampirism and would become the brute force of the Forgiven that causes havoc with his trademark weapon, the mace.

Creation

Visigoth was created by Victor Gischler and Ryan Stegman in 2011 and first appeared in Fear Itself: Hulk vs Dracula # 1.

Major Story Arcs

Fear Itself: Hulk vs Dracula

The Forgiven infiltrate the domain of Castle Dracula and attempt to put old feuds aside and try to join forces with Dracula to stop the Hulk who has been decimating the Vampire Nation as a hammer wielding member of the Worthy. Dracula refuses to join forces with Raizo and has Visigoth and the rest of the Forgiven placed in the dungeons.

Powers & Abilities

Visigoth is a vampire that possesses many powers and attributes of his kind but refuses to feed on human blood as a member of the Forgiven. Visigoth is the bruiser of the group that possesses enhanced strength and is a skilled fighter with his trademark weapon, the mace. Visigoth and the other members of the Forgiven are immune to sunlight as long as they wear a special light bender amulet during daylight hours.
