The prelude to the highly anticipated Death of Spider- Man arc. The Good: I am loving what is currently going on with the Black Cat. The artwork on her sections are so much better then the Spider/Iron man parts. Also, I think her part of the story interesting. Bendis' depiction of Peter as this super fanboy when he meets Iron Man and spends some time with him is also pretty fun to read. It seems like the right way a fanboy would react, because, lets face it, that is what Peter Parker is. The w...

Death of Spider-Man starts with a bang 0
Lately the ultimate Spider-MAn has been focusing on two things; Peter going to super hero school because he's too reckless and the Black Cat and Mysterio fighting for the Kingpin's (now dead) most prized possession. This issue has a nice flow as it skips between the serious Black Cat story and the more lighthearted Spidey part with them both coming together at the end. Synopsis: Peter begins his training with Tony Stark, while Mysterio and Black Cat work out a deal concerning a powerful artifact. What's Good? The cover for this issue seems to indicate that the some form of the Sinister Six is coming after Peter for the upcoming event, "Death of Spider-man".
