An unlucky superhero.
Black Owl was one of two superheroes. The first was Doug Danville until he enlisted in WWII. The second was his successor Walt Walters, who fought the Nazis along with his sons Rick and Dick Walters aka "Yank" and "Doodle".
The Ghost was a mortal hero who used his 'Ghost Plane' to streak through the skies of WWII in battle Nazi's and eventually managed to kill the Claw.
Green Lama's first appearance was in December 1940, during the Golden Age of Comics. He is now a key figure in Dynamite Entertainment's comic "Project SuperPowers". He is also a new member of Masks, Dynamite Entertainments new vigilante team. The character is owned by the Crossen Estate.
Taxi-driver Duke O'Dowd joined the Foreign Legion during World War II. During his time in Bavakuria, Duke was given a magic belt by a Tibetan ruler Wah Le which he uses to fight crime in the United States as The Human Meteor.

Professional wrestler Bob White is secretly a costume vigilante called Nightmare. Together his young friend Terry Wake/Sleepy they are the scourges of the underworld.
Snoopy is the pet sidekick of Twilight after his first owner was killed.
Swift Arrow appeared in four issues of Spark Publications' GOLDEN LAD COMICS in 1945-46.
