History

Michael Hardaway is a diabetic. To help his son, Dr. Philip Hardaway developed an experimental insulin. The insulin turbo-charged Michael's metabolism, resulting in his super speed.

After gaining his powers he set out to become Prime's teenage sidekick. Ironically Michael is actually a few years older than Kevin. The two became friends and battled many foes together, including Doc Gross.

Later Michael revealed to Kevin that he was gay, and loved him. At first Prime didn't know how to react to the news, but later accepted it. He then revealed his secret identity to Michael.
