    Tucker Jenkins was a pupil at Grange Hill School whose schemes and goofing off frequently got him into trouble. However, he was never a nasty individual, and so he remained popular with his classmates and even his teachers, for the most part.

    Played by Todd Carty, Tucker Jenkins was the introduced in the first episode of Grange Hill in 1978 and both actor and character grew up from young schoolboy to adult on the show.

    The most popular character in an ensemble show, he featured prominently in the tie-in comics, and when his character left school the BBC provided him with his own spin-off show, Tucker's Luck, which ran for three additional years.

    The character returned in a cameo in 2003, dropping his nephew "Togger" off for his first day at the school, and then again in 2008 for the final episode and final scene of the show.
