OK so every one knows the trinity consists of Superman Wonder Woman and Batman, these three are the best of the best, the main component of the JLA and are the most iconic comic book characters in the world. 
So why with the exception of Batman aren't they that popular? I mean when Superman and Wonder Woman began they where massive they where genre defining, now not so much. What is it about these characters that readers are put off by? Its not just the comic book readers ether, Batman as has had some criticality acclaimed movies (  Schumacher not included) and a ton of animated TV shows but the only real time you see Supes and WW was on the JLA related shows and superman hasn't had a good movie since the original  Christopher Reeve effort where Wonder Woman hasn't had one at all, with the push back of her TV show and the movie stuck in limbo we are not likely to see one any time soon. 
Why has Batman's popularity been consistent since he began? Is it just poor writing and poor directing that Supes and WW aren't on top of there game like they once where? Or are the powers that be too scared to take a stab at doing something big with these characters to make them stand out? what do you guys think?

Batman has more relatable drama. alot of people hate superman because he's so powerful and hard to relate too for some,and people just dont really know enough about Wonder Woman

Most of it has been marketing. Dc has fallen to a sort of limbo in the new 52 where they don't really push any material other than batman. You can see it in the dc animated movies and the new 52 (where batman was the only one of the trinity that wasn't given a full reboot allowing old fans of batman to continue to enjoy their favorite character with the history more or less intact the other two most of their old fans left because their favorite character was given a full reboot and their character was completly changed in the new comic).in fact the most promoting dc did with superman and wonder woman was the superman/wonder woman comic which was something that old fans of the characters hated and never wanted -It was mainly done for new readers. If dc stayed faithful to wonderwoman fans as much as to batman fans. she would likely be just as popular as batman. But tbh I don't know why superman isn't as popular as batman because he has largely been pushed and promoted almost as much as batman with mos being the first dc movie from the dccu and more superman/superfamily comic titles than any other trinity he should be getting just as much attention now. Wonder women-outside of her promotion in bvs-still has very little promotion in the dc and is only now being written in a way to satisfy old fans so she'll likely rise in popularity very soon.
