    Disney, remember when pirate movies weren't about 3 hours of CGI? 0

    Once you discount the entire Eroll Flynn and Douglas Fairbanks oeuvres, there have been like about two good pirate movies ever made, both by Disney.With the success of Classics Illustrated Comics, Disney and Gold Key Classics jumped into the arena of repackaging classic content in the 1950s. Despite its dumbed-down Disneyification, the 1950 adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, is pretty good.
