When Spider-Man was wanted for a murder Trapster commited, he took to wearing the Dusk costume and befriended Trapster in order to get evidance against Norman Osbourne who hired Trapster to frame Spider-Man in the first place. To Spider-Man's disgust, he found that he actually liked Trapster at some level.
Electro becomes a member of the Wizard's Frightful Four in FF #218 and they defeat the Fantastic Four, until Spiderman intervenes to save them.

Actually, they delivered the Fantastic Four their first defeat by the end of an issue in FF #38, "Defeated by the Frightful Four". Trapster joined with Medusa and Wizard in kidnapping the Invisible Girl. They took her to an isolated Pacific island and placed the unconscious girl next to a powerful nuclear bomb. When the Fantastic Four came to rescue their captive partner, a battle ensued, but the Frightful Four escaped and this left the Fantastic Four at the mercy of the Wizard's Q-bomb. While the four did barely survive the blast, thanks to the Invisible Girl's force field, they lost their powers for the next 1 and 1/2 issues. The result was a real victory for the Sandman, Trapster, Medusa and the Wizard!
MacDonald "Mac" Gargan was a failing private investigator that was turned into the Scorpion with financial help from J. Jonah Jameson. He became a host of the Venom symbiote and was part of Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. After the US Government took the symbiote, he became The Scorpion once again.
Trapster teams up with Shocker and in some real success for Trapster, they defeat Spiderman.
