Tom & Jerry Winter Carnival was an annual "Dell Giant Comic" published by Dell that began in the winter of 1952/1953. Each issue featured a number of stories featuring both Tom and Jerry as well as other characters. The M-G-M on the covers stands for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the media company better known for its distribution of film and television (including the original Tom and Jerry cartoon). Although the series only survived for two years under this version of its title, it became M.G.M.'s Tom & Jerry's Winter Fun and lasted for another five years from 1954-1958.
