Tiranga is an Indian superhero, dressed in the attire of the tri-colour of the Indian national flag. His secret identity is Abhay Deshpande, also known as Bharat Deshpande. Tiranga, which literally means tri-colour, is a patriot who uses his advanced tri-coloured shield to protect the civilians and the nation from various criminal elements and those who spread hate and violence. He does not have any special super powers. Tiranga operates as a detective and is very intelligent and has one of the sharpest minds. His shield protects him from various attacks and dangers and he is most popular for his poetic dialogues. Some of his arch-nemesis includes Shatranj, Nakalchi, CNN, Rasayan and Enviro. Tiranga is affiliated to the team P.O.E.M. (Protectors of Earth and Mankind) and Jan Shakti as well.
