Special Post-SIEGE issue – that introduces a brand-new character! When a magical landmark like Asgard crashes to Earth, the fallout doesn’t end just by sweeping up the wreckage. This historic disaster has unleashed unprecedented threats, and one of them is pillaging the American Midwest! This sounds like the perfect mission for Luke Cage’s untested team of incarcerated superhumans—and while the newly assembled Thunderbolts boast the power of Juggernaut, Ghost, Moonstone, Crossbones and Man-Thing, are even they ready to handle the girl known only as… Troll?

After taking out Luke Cage, Mach V, and Songbird, Baron Zemo asks the Thunderbolts to board his ship before the Raft’s defenses activate. Crossbones agrees, while Juggernaut attempts to leave the island by water. Ghost is unconvinced of the events and can tell the three supervisors’ vital signs are normal. Baron Zemo is actually Fixer in disguise. The scenario was a ruse to test the member’s loyalties. Fixer informs the team they had nanites installed to incapacitate their powers whenever the supervisors wanted.

Next, Cage meets briefly with the new warden of the Raft, John Walker (USAgent). Walker, now with a prosthetic arm after the events of Siege, refuses Fixer’s offer of cybernetics, saying he didn’t want to become a cyborg like Nuke, the one who severed his arm and leg. Nuke remains in a coma on the Raft.

Just before their next briefing, Cage informs Crossbones that he is equipped only with non-lethal weaponry. The Thunderbolts’ next mission is to capture three trolls that escaped from their Asgardian holding cells after Asgard collapsed. Man-Thing transports the team to the projected location of the trolls and the Thunderbolts quickly enter into a fight with two of the trolls. While the rest of the team are fighting the two trolls, Ghost encounters a human-looking female troll whose axe was able to harm Ghost’s suit was while he was intangible. The female troll continues to attack Ghost in the final panel.

    Review: Thunderbolts #145 0

There's much more to Zemo's reappearance than meets the eye, and the secrets behind that will test the characters of this new Thunderbolts line-up just before they have to deal with some runaway Asgardian trolls. The Good The twist on the twist ending that closed out the last issue is nothing short of brilliant. Not only is it suspenseful and surprising, it also actually addresses a lot of issues raised about the volatility of this line-up and it reveals a lot about them ...

    Honestly surprised me... 0

After last issue's ending, I had no clue what to expect for this issue. Was it real, was it a trick? If it was real, who would run, and who wouldn't? Well, all that's answered, and in a way that makes perfect sense. It was the best kind of tryout for the team, and their keepers. Once you get into the plot proper, you meet the new Warden for the Raft, in one John Walker, aka USAgent. He's the perfect choice, honestly. He's a character who's completely perfect for being in charge of prisoners, and...

Troll Hunting with The Juggernaut 0

Well in this issue we see where we left off on #144 Baron Zemo taking out Luke,Songbird and Mach V. Well instead of helping them Crossbones wanted to join Baron Zemo(asshole! xD) and The Juggernaut well he makes an escape. While Moonstone and Ghost are left fighting Zemo. But wait....what's this? Ghost found out that Luke, and Mach V's pulse we're ok, and Songbird's only raised when Moonstone was attacked. It was a Test....and they found out their powers we're more limited and controlled than th...
