OK as a big fan of Thor I ask. Who should Thor ultimately end up with? Lady Sif or The Enchantress? and why?
Thor
Character » Thor appears in 8593 issues.
Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Thor's Love Interest?
Hela would be stupid, Sif broke his heart with her affection for Beta Ray Bill, there's no way he could ever really trust the Enchantress. I think a better choice would be Brunhilde the Valkyrie.
I would rather have him with the enchantress than sif, but i don't perticularly like either of them for him.
"Hela's his niece so....... Nah it must be SIf seeing how he reacted when he couldn't bring her back in the first arc since he came back "
Not by blood and even then gods do that kind of stuff all the time in mythology.
Yep. @Mr. Dead Pool said:" Hela's his niece so....... Nah it must be SIf seeing how he reacted when he couldn't bring her back in the first arc since he came back "

Loki is an adopted Frost Giant. He should have been kicked out of the family a while ago.
Hela's touch is to die for :)
"Wonder Woman. I ain't kidding either. "
^ yes i would actually like to see that in a crossover
In Marve 616 Lady Sif is his real love, even in the norse mythology he is married with Sif, Amora (Enchantress) once had her moment, but no, she is also a villain.
And Thor never cared about Valkyrie.
Ultimate Thor's love interest is Valkirie, Sif doesn't exist yet, Amora doesn't give a F@(& about Thor, and Hela just wanted a son fom him.
"None. I'd go for Valkyrie "
Yes. Brunnhilde would be an excellent choice.
But if I had to pick who's right for Thor between just Sif and Amora . . . then I have to pick Sif. She's worthy of respect and Thor can trust her.
Trust and Respect. A relationship won't work without these two things. Love is important, but you can love someone without respecting and/or trusting them. If you respect them, you'll do right by them. If you trust them you won't drive them away with your own insecurities. Of course, your partner has to trust and respect you as well, these virtues must be reciprocal.
Amora isn't suitable under this criteria. Sif is. Thor should be with Sif.

After reading Thor Tales of Asgard, I have an even greater appreciation for those two to end up eventually. I would like to see Marvel try and develop her a bit more as an independent character, I think they could succeed.
" @SC said:Cool."Wonder Woman. I ain't kidding either. "^ yes i would actually like to see that in a crossover "
Yeah, always been a big fan of those two. Semi favorites from both companies, hooking up over the art of battle and relating to others, and just the beauty of living. I think Thor would really appreciate Wondy too lol
uh well i would say Jane foster but sense she did not pas the asgardian courage test to bad for her and well Amora is evil and
even though Thor has made some mistakes in his time that is too big of one Valkyrie well she seams to have some feelings for balder and Hela eww thats just gross as i said before with entantress thor would so not do that so i guess Sif i mean even though she did some pretty mean things to him he did it to her to and hello in alote of comics thats who he ends up with just sayin folks
Actually, Thor and Brunhilda had a thang beginning in Thor #297. If you can believe the source. But Sif is the one. She seems to like everybody that has a big hammer though. Redd Norvell. Thunderstrike, Beta Ray Bill and Vidarrodinson.
Enchantress because I like single Sif.
really?
why do you prefer her single?

I get most of my comics from TPB's
is she single/divorced in that series?

Well Thor hasn't been in it at all sense Sif became the main character. I think that Sif and Thor broke it off a little while after Fear Itself once Thor returned. She's a bad ass and I think adding a love interest would just weight her down. It would also sorta kill the rebellious/independence theme of the book.

well, I doubt Thor would weigh her down much
I don't know about the rebellious theme (sorry)
and did Thor actually break it off with her (seems out of character, they seem to really like each other) are you sure it has nothing to do with thor's apparent death?
anyways, why would the theme of the book require more integrity than thousands of years of myth?

Thor would weigh her down, she doesn't need Thor keeping her in his shadow.
Sif broke up with the Thor that everyone thought was Thor after Fear Itself, and then once the real Thor returned there hasn't been any Sif and Thor romance so I think Sif might just think she broke up with real Thor.
Thousands of years of myths? Really? 90% of Thor stories don't follow any kind of myth accurately.

They've always been partners more than anything else, One being famous doesn't make the other less so
wait what? when did all of that happen?
fair enough
If Thor followed the myths he'd be a red head with 3 kids and require his belt of strength just to lift his hammer which in mythology was too heavy for anyone to lift without magical assistance aside from Thor's son Magni who was literally the god of strength

I don't know how you can actually believe that. Thor steals the spotlight all the time, and considering JiM is finally Sif's big chance to shine on her own Thor would only get in the way of that. I don't mean that in the sense where he would get in the way of battle, but when Thor just owns everything around her faster then she can kill one thing(and if they didn't show that kind of power difference the book would get shit for it because most Thor fans cry when Thor isn't the best at everything) it's going to take away from her.
Not to mention that sense Sif is the main character there would probably come a time where Thor would get beating by something because of his own arrogance, and Sif would end up saving the day. The only problem with that would be people wouldn't care that Sif got to look cool they would just complain about how Thor should have won. Sense the point of the book is about Sif and making her cooler and more popular you can't team her up with a popularity eclipse like Thor.
As it is right now one of the biggest issues with Sif is that people define her as Thor's girlfriend, and I'm not saying you do. I'm saying that a lot of people do, so Thor and Sif dating being part of Sif's JiM would be a horrible idea.
It happened right after fear itself

well, they could just keep on having SIf being the warrior she always was (in the Marvel comics)
you really seem to have something against Thor fans, have you read any of Sif's early stuff in Thor (she saved him fairly often)
and for her being Thor's girlfriend, that is kind of a huge part of her character (allways has been) if you want a character who isn't Thor's girlfriend, than you don't really want Sif
that's just an image of a guy standing on a rock

Oh I didn't realize you like it when characters never change, evolve, or improve.
"and for her being Thor's girlfriend, that is kind of a huge part of her character (allways has been) if you want a character who isn't Thor's girlfriend, than you don't really want Sif"
Wow... that is absolutely hilarious xD
And that was an image of the cover of The Might Thor issue 8. That's where the story starts where everyone thought Tanarus was Thor.... so you could look into it.

well, it just seems like a big change that came out of nowhere, I mean, that's like if they wanted to have WW and Superman have a romance
so do you disagree? because you seem to think what I said was funny for some reason (having a character be nothing like what they are is the same as making a new character)
I'll consider looking int09oo that I guess
